How to complain about Drag Queen Story Time

I'm going to a venue tonight that is hosting the Drag Queen Story Time later this year.
How do I complain about this, without seeming like a right-wing reactionary?
Do I hand in a letter, talking about safeguarding concerns, or how should I approach it? I will obviously be boycotting the venue from now on, if they have such a weak grasp of safeguarding, but I would like to do more than that.
What would you suggest?

Evidence based and unbiased reporting this is not. It's just an extension of trolls on Twitter - not any credible form of journalism.

I wrote a letter to the Guardian in response to their recent two page piece in the G2 section by a male staffer, a parent who took his child to a DQST and heartily approved of it.
(It is the Guardian, after all)
This was a completely one sided piece and did not consider any safeguarding issues at all. I raised this with them in my letter along with other concerns, the pornified names, the 'wardrobe malfunctions' /indecent exposure and the freely available and unsuitable information about the performer .
They haven't published it and I'm not holding my breath.
