The only good thing to come out of this is that Truss will take on the gender ideologues. About time they were driven out of the NHS, schools and the civil service but I fear in other respects it will be crap (like May mk2).

On the whole, hugely relieved. Mordaunt will now blame ‘personal attacks’ of course, but it has opened her and her wee pals up to a scrutiny she’s never faced before.

I wonder (hope - probably in vain) if Starmer has watched how important this topic has been in this leadership contest and which way the wind is blowing and might consider using his former legal profession to inch himself and labour away from the toxic identity ideology.

He’s got time and I reckon people could buy something along the lines of - initially wanted to be kind, we’re left wing and the party of inclusion but recent court cases have shown to remain inclusive we need to balance trans rights and women’s rights.

Relieved. It's really frightening to think how close we've come on a number of occasions with women's rights and child safeguarding.
