This is mostly about Sex Education but there is so much crossover with teaching about gender.

Lots of examples from BISH which is run by Justin Hancock, includes material on kinks and fetishes ("n a post about “kink”, Bish links to a blog that provides a list of sexual activities including using manacles and irons, whips, swinging and beating) advice to a 14 year old having sex with her boyfriend that "she probably won't get pregnant using the withdrawal method". He failed to mention the relationship was illegal and also suggested lots of lube for anal sex.

Justin charges schools between £500-£600 a day to deliver this so called sex education.

Other examples covered in the story include materials from the Proud Trust advising parents to make play doh models with their children to demonstrate masturbation.

There needs to be a serious overhaul and careful regulation of Sex Education.

These people are disgusting.

IcakethereforeIam · 09/07/2022 10:56

If anyone hasn't already, look up and sign the petition about this on the MN petition page. It's a shame it wasn't mentioned in the Times article. Have they allowed comments?

2fallsfromSSA · 09/07/2022 11:19

Not sure. They are allowing comments on the Mail article.

OP posts:
ComDummings · 09/07/2022 11:24

Most of those people should be in prison or some sort of child protection register or something.

2fallsfromSSA · 09/07/2022 11:31

Yes and yet they are allowed to set themselves up as sex Ed experts.

OP posts:
MrsOvertonsWindow · 09/07/2022 11:33

The comments under the Times article are almost universally horrified

2fallsfromSSA · 09/07/2022 11:42

I honestly don't think parents realise how bad it it.

SamphirethePogoingStickerist · 09/07/2022 11:56

Another of those 'in plain sight' things we keep being told are progressive, inclusive and we just fucking dinosaurs for wanting stopped.

That isn't borderline illegal. That is grooming. And the school and LA will need very deep pockets...

JoodyBlue · 09/07/2022 11:59

What I find most astonishing is the response from many parents I speak to is "it is ridiculous". Not the more appropriate "this is child abuse" which is exactly what it is - exposing minors to explicit and age inappropriate material. I can't believe how blase many people seem to have become. It is perhaps that slow boil - gradually acclimatising the populace to more and more acceptable extremes. So depressing.

RaininginDarling · 09/07/2022 12:08

Wowser. That is so shocking.

At best that person is an education grifter and deeply ignorant of basic safeguarding and child development. At worst, he's something I'm probably not allowed to allude to here but I'll be taking my dog to one later to get his fur done...

I agree but there's also a deliberate reframing (brainwashing) going on. I find myself having to explain basic safeguarding principles to trained social workers.

@RaininginDarling that is alarming but equally not surprising.

These people should be in prison.

They are child abusers.

as an adult that was groomed and raped as a child this gives me the absolute chills.

I mean What the actual fuck do they think they are doing asking children to show where they touch themselves and teaching them about kinks?

It's fucking sick. How are the children supposed to differentiate between the "good perverts" asking them where they touch themselves and the bad perverts asking them where they touch themselves?

Answer they can't because there is no bloody difference they are all bloody perverts.

2fallsfromSSA · 09/07/2022 12:43

@Boiledbeetle I'm so sorry. We hear from many adults who were groomed as children and subjected to sexual abuse. They all say the same thing.

OP posts:
MrsOvertonsWindow · 09/07/2022 12:45

It's hard to disagree that adults continually pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable to discuss about sex / kink / porn and fetish with other people's children should as a basis have their hard drives closely examined - along with needing to demonstrate what qualifications and experience they have to educate children about sex.
At the moment it seems that anyone can self identify as an SRE expert, no matter how dodgy their background is Confused

FrancescaContini · 09/07/2022 12:49

I fully echo what all other posters are saying: this is grooming, and it’s abusive.

I can’t say on here what I’d want to do to any grown adult who talked to my teenage CHILDREN about sadistic practices, masturbation and God knows what other inappropriate subjects as it’d probably get my post deleted.

What happened to allowing children and young people to find their own way, in their own time, bit by bit, with age-appropriate information on consent and contraception provided along the way?

When did we start allowing (non-related) adults to tell children HOW to have sex, and indeed as indicated above, how to engage in pretty extreme practices? I’m horrified, and really saddened. I really hope that there’s a huge backlash against this, as well as some kind of inquiry.

Very very pertinent question in your third paragraph, and a very obvious but extremely chilling answer. Thank you, @Boiledbeetle . I’m sure there are many many hundreds if not thousands of people “lurking” on this thread who will come away from this thread and your comments feeling angry and horrified.

What are we doing to our children? 😡

Boiledbeetle · 09/07/2022 13:01

I've just been and checked the 6 offences my rapist was charged with.

There are two charges that seem identical to an unknowing reader. Count 1 and count 2 are both indecent assault contrary to section 14(1) of the sexual offences Act 1956.

Both counts concern my abuser performing an act of masturbation on me. One of those two counts was covering the fact that he had told me to show him where I liked to be touched and what arose from that.

My rapist went to prison for 13 years (died in there as well, oh what a shame!)

I don't see any difference between my rapist and these people.

They should be in prison.

FrancescaContini · 09/07/2022 13:05

@Boiledbeetle I’m so very sorry to read what happened to you.

I’m glad to hear that bastard died in prison. Hopefully he was well treated by his fellow inmates…

Whatwouldscullydo · 09/07/2022 13:06

Oh so sorry beetle

Yes schools will have many pupils who are or have been abused sexually.

Stuff like this does not repair the boundaries that have already been broken down . It breaks them down further

If kids start thinking sex as an underage prostitute is ok then they certainly aren't gonna thinking an adult who touches their chest over clothes is doing something wrong are they.

And let's face it thats the intention. To desensitise our children to dangerous adult sexual practices.

Disgusting

Boiledbeetle · 09/07/2022 13:12

To all:

as you can imagine there is literally stream coming out of my ears over this article.

Even if these people are doing this with a 100% innocent intent???!!!!!!????!!! they are actively setting up these kids to being less able to know when the actual bogeyman comes along.

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Where's the cat? i need a purring cat right now!

IdiotCreatures · 09/07/2022 13:18

Petition signed just jaw droppingly inappropriate.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 09/07/2022 13:19

Thank you Boiledbeetle for sharing that. Some of the acts promoted by these organisations constitute criminal offences against children under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
Sadly these organisations have been given a free pass by the useful idiots in thrall to queer theory as promoted by lobby groups and certain "sex ed" organisations.

Thelnebriati · 09/07/2022 13:22

Why isn't the NSPCC all over this?
