Bristol Council goes for broke

BCC have allowed a large 2 bed council house to stay empty for 2.5 years
Tennant was in prison then banned from the area
but because of his “ mental health issue “ they won’t evict him at present but they can’t let him ever go back to the property either because of what he did

so he is getting the rent paid by UC while living elsewhere - you couldn’t make it up

The roof on the property needed fixing ; complete new roof due to Tennant damage - it was authorised then then that person went on long term sick and didn’t pass it on to anyone to deal with
So a weeks work took 10 months to do

They are the dumbest council ever

I don't think you can evict someone under some mental health legislation/policies
