I've not seen a thread on Amy on MN and the search didn't show up anything. She seems to be being put through the wringer by tras and by her nursing college.

I thought if she saw this thread it might be cheering Flowers, she's on twitter. I found her thanks to Bette.

So they do have some self awareness then

HiddenLegoOuch · 08/11/2023 02:35

@Mmmnotsure - thank you so much for your commentary, it has helped me tremendously. 💐

Thank you. I'm very glad it was useful.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 08/11/2023 11:29

Yes, another thanks here. Was looking forward to hearing the panel and opposing lawyers cross examine Kathleen Stock so was a bit disappointed about that! I guess they knew it wouldn't help them.

Tallisker · 08/11/2023 11:33

Thanks from me too, @Mmmnotsure - stellar typing!

MarjorieDanvers · 08/11/2023 13:21

I think Kathleen Stock spoke far too much sense and so wouldn’t surprise me if the panel exclude all of her evidence.

IcakethereforeIam · 08/11/2023 14:01

Thank you from me too @Mmmnotsure

I wish they'd crossed Doc Stock. If only because she speaks so well and so clearly.

Didn't realise how qualified Linda Blade is!

Signalbox · 08/11/2023 18:03

Ffs not good.

Signalbox · 08/11/2023 18:22

No cross examination again from the College of Coach Blade.
This does seem to be quite a risky strategy.

chilling19 · 08/11/2023 18:22

No questions for Linda Blade.

It is the first time I have listened to her, and she is pretty impressive.

So, maybe after Dr Cantor, who they couldn't shake, they decided not to challenge the experts because it just doesn't work.

Signalbox · 08/11/2023 18:22

She's amazing.

Yes, because JS and KB's reports will now stand as evidence.

Yes, because JS and KB's reports will now stand as evidence.

Exactly and with no challenge.

desiringtoremainsane · 08/11/2023 18:37

College calling no Rebuttal witnesses.

chilling19 · 08/11/2023 18:53

OK, well that was very interesting.

Canada now has some solid arguments on the record that will need strong rebuttals which are evidenced based. So look forward to that.

Well done Amy, I am sure Canada will thank you.

I never thought I would hear myself saying that employment tribunals are really interesting, but they really are!

Thanks to the nest of vipers for the company - I never thought I would hear myself saying that employment tribunals are interesting, but they really are when in such knowledgeable (and at times hilarious) company👏👏👏

fallfallfall · 08/11/2023 19:41

i sure hope the expert witnesses were recorded or "court" documented as i would like to listen/watch or read what they said.
sadly i was unavailable to watch this morning.

PaleBlueMoonlight · 08/11/2023 21:01

So did Linda Blade not give any oral evidence?

CyberCritical · 08/11/2023 21:27

Just caught up on Twitter as had to miss today, this guy has been summarising as they go x.com/shannonbdouglas/status/1722298480259928507?s=61&t=_4AjlXbi-cbNgW2ZGAXrpQ

Eliza Mondegreen sums up the case to date in Unherd

There's a hyperlink to Bufo's page about themselves. It's full of folk/folks, she's much older than I imagined, so perhaps the blue hair is actually a traditional blue rinse à la Mrs Slocombe?

Three years! This dangerous woman, who's been allowed to keep working (such is the danger). In fact, that should be the defence, 'if I'm so dangerous, why was I permitted to keep working?'.

Legal ordeal continues for nurse who backed J.K. Rowling

Canadian nurse Amy Hamm first learnt she was under investigation three years ago this month for making “discriminatory and derogatory statements regarding transgender people, while identifying [her]self as a nurse or nurse educator”. The British Columb...

I’m getting new adverts on this thread- ‘never too late to get into nursing!’. Not sure whether they want more terfy nurses, or are just misreading the room 😁

Does anyone have any thoughts as to the likelihood of AH being disciplined or losing her job or profession over this? I don't understand the Canadian employment tribunal /legal framework around it because it just seems like she's speaking sense. Anyone with any inside knowledge of the Canadian system?
