I've not seen a thread on Amy on MN and the search didn't show up anything. She seems to be being put through the wringer by tras and by her nursing college.

I thought if she saw this thread it might be cheering , she's on twitter. I found her thanks to Bette.

BF wants to stop and finish tomorrow so she can consolidate her notes or whatever. That seems deliberate, to keep AH on the hook overnight.

BF is trying to get Amy to admit that her advocacy for sex segregated spaces will cause harm to transgender people (based on testimony from Dr Bauer). Amy holding firm. Well done, Amy.

If they had Forstater - Amy's argument would be women's spaces are not transphobic. The end.

Kathleen Stock has tweeted that if all goes to plan she will be giving evidence this evening at some point.

If i were I'd be writing a list of crimes men in women's prisons had committed that were proven and reading up on Dr Bowers study because I'd want to be able to answer in a way that makes BFs head explode.

Dr B says 60% TW fear harm in male toilets, it's a study of 10 people from a preselected biased group and 'harm' includes hurty feelings - or whatever the real numbers and facts are. (I haven't actually read the study and have made these numbers up).

BF was clearly angling for Amy to say 'yes TW are at risk, I don't care and they don't deserve equal rights' and she'll have spent the night trying ti write questions that lead her to that goal.

Is it 4pm that this starts today? Really want to catch the beginning before BF finishes her questioning of Amy

These statements are frustrating. The answer of course to all of them is 'yes', yes if my advocacy works there will be less/no TW in women's spaces, but Amy needs to avoid saying yes because BF is going for a gotcha.

BF - panel now forcing AH to answer 'if your advocacy is successful this will mean transwomen will...

...have less places in a women's only refuges = theoretically
...have less participation in women only sports = can play in their sex class
...will have less rooms to access in universities = lots of other beds
...girl guides would stop admitting TW = child safeguarding issue
...academic scholarship and grants = transmen can apply
...females only committees = yes

It is not incumbent on women to sort this out, but support TW advocating for third spaces

I think if it was me I'd just go for "yes I don't want any males in female sports" etc. Get it over with.

Can't wait until bf cross examines KS. She won't know what's hit her.

BF is also deliberately missing the logic that if there are less men in women's spaces/sports/board positions/jobs then there will be more Women in them.

BF's last question implied that Amy had so many followers because she said she was a nurse. Amy pointed out that many people became followers precisely because the College of Nurses brought this action against her. Nicely played, Amy.
