I've not seen a thread on Amy on MN and the search didn't show up anything. She seems to be being put through the wringer by tras and by her nursing college.

I thought if she saw this thread it might be cheering , she's on twitter. I found her thanks to Bette.

It's so funny. Every time BF objects my phone stops audio and switches to text only. I appreciate bf has a job to do but it's hard to not to find her tedious.

James Cantor is impressive - I'm glad the panel has allowed him to testify as to global practices, not limited to just US and Canada as BF wanted.

Karen Bastow is on fire.

Bastow objecting strongly to BF questioning Cantor about his experience as a gay man in order to link it to minority stress theory. And yes, it is abhorrent - she is trying to discredit his expertise on the basis of bias in my opinion. As Bastow points out, it is irrelevant to Cantor's status as an expert witness.

In fact, it seems to me that (as usual) the Trans side have no argument and so they try to shut down the GC side by any means necessary.

It will be interesting to see if the panel (which, after all is firmly located in ultra-woke Canada) make their decisions on the legalities. If they do not hold up Bastow's objection, I think there are robust grounds for appeal if this is needed after the eventual ruling. It may be that BF is trying to kick the can down the road, but I would have thought even more daylight would be very counterproductive, especially in light of the Zacchigna lawsuit

Findlay is a moron, I really can't understand why anyone would choose her to represent them in anything. I wouldn't put her up front on a tombola stall let alone discussing complex legal issues on behalf of a large college.

Why is she fixated on stressors experienced by gay men in the 90s? In what way does this relate to Amy Hamm posting about Transgender issues on Twitter and putting up a billboard?

BF - still trying to intimate that Cantor is biased because of minority stress theory.

This has no relevance to the case, I.e. Amy Hamm's statements. Or am I missing something?

If so, is she trying to enshrine in law that no one can be GC because this would cause minority stress?
