I've not seen a thread on Amy on MN and the search didn't show up anything. She seems to be being put through the wringer by tras and by her nursing college.

If so, is she trying to enshrine in law that no one can be GC because this would cause minority stress?

Possibly. Also I’m assuming they haven’t had the equivalent case law of Forstater in Canada. So perhaps their position is that the GC position isn’t WORIADS (or whatever the equivalent would be in Canada.) Or perhaps they are arguing that the GC position is harmful and not covered by free speech.

It does feel a very different test of law in Canada - this seems a long-drawn out test of Cantor, not the core of Amy's case. Not sure if there are any Canadian law experts here who could explain what's going on?

This feels more like the Helen Webberley case where you can understand the need for the clinical / psychological experts. It's hard to fathom what all of this has to do with Amy when there are no criticisms at all of her clinical competence. It's utterly bizarre.

Thought it was interesting that the only time BF has expressed anything nearing human in her expression or tone was when she asked JC to repeat a flattering comment he had made. JC observed she had grasped a concept of correlation, that others may perceive to be complex. She positively beamed, giggled and asked him to repeat his affirmation...what a 'clever girl' she is.
