This started as a lighthearted thread about different types of gender identity, some of which are, as we’ve seen, a bit silly and lighthearted themselves. I do actually highly doubt that there are teenagers out there who genuinely think they are cats with dummies. So why are we not allowed to mock this stuff gently in return?

Either some of it is a bit silly and so we can perfectly well gently mock it; or no-one is allowed to treat it lighthearted it because identifying as a cat is JUST like being a transwoman.

Either someone has massively overreacted; or it’s actually a great moral sin to say that identifying as a spacecat is not actually real, because that’s mocking trans people. Which is it?

It was @nightwakingmoon apparently we were mocking the most vulnerable and oppressed group of people ever. No one had brought transpeople into it at that point, we were mocking the Tumblr and Reddit idiots who conflate a personality with a gender, and demand to be included in the trans umbrella for that reason. I think this does transpeople a huge disservice as it results in mo one taking any of the gender nonsense seriously.

In other news, I am no longer solgender, I am now weathergender as this incorporates, sol, rain and foggy genders. Solgender was too constricting

how do you know we are not those things? Earlier in the thread you said that if a teen were to say they were catgender, we should respect that. So it’s ok for a teen to identify as catgender , which is plainly batshittery crazy, but we are not allowed to point our that it is batshittery crazy. Stonewall dies say that you must believe people when they tell you how they identify, so you not respecting our identities is a bit bigoted no? Either Self ID is acceptable fir all, or it is not. I would hazard a guess that the reason you struggle with the concept of trans race is because if it was answered honestly it would throw a grenade into the whole of concept of Gender Ideology.

Secondly, you are very miffed and upset that posters are in your view mocking Gender Ideology, however, as Ricky Gervais said no-one will find a ten year old tweet saying Women don't have penises because no-one thought they'd bloody well have to point out the fecking obvious, now if you do you risk being banned from social media, receive rape and death threats, may be doxxed, your employer will be targeted and you may well be reported to the Police for a non-crime hate incident or worse.
