Stella Creasy has doubled down on her TWAW position in today's Telegraph www.telegraph.co.uk/women/life/stella-creasy-jk-rowling-wrong-woman-can-have-penis/

@secular111 @PronounssheRa

Hi! 😉

"Hello. I have tried to respond to your points on here, and to those who support you. I have also said I will meet. Can I ask now that you stop copying me into your messages and ask your supporters to stop as well as my timeline still impossible to read? Thanks." - Stella Creasy.

Why should organisations ask women not to contact an MP?

It’s mad isn’t it, it’s like she thinks all GC women live in a house together or something. She’s been dismissing the movement for so long she hasn’t noticed how much it’s grown in the four years since her one meeting with five constituents.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 30/05/2022 09:52

She's an embarrassment, and I'm one of her constituents. I've voted for her previously, but cannot do so again based on her current views.

Do you intend to write and tell her so?

TrailWhale · 30/05/2022 10:11

@MagnoliaTaint unfortunately you are not allowed to raise complaints related to Social Media usage through the commissioner it appears (see link 1).

Okay.

This is also an option:

Good to see you here, @iamlucyvanpelt ! I was the one who mentioned you on the Allison Bailey thread, along with the woke bros on the ROF site. I saw that got picked up there!

iamlucyvanpelt · 30/05/2022 10:32

Hi @Ereshkigalangcleg!

I saw your other post about me and am quite tickled by the whole thing.

I do indeed walk among you, or rather, lurk among you. I'm not nearly as active on here as I am on the other site because I love a good argument and, well, 99% of Mumsnet users already agree with me!

Off again now before I have some sort of name change fail.

WhereAreWeNow · 30/05/2022 10:34

TrailWhale · 30/05/2022 08:41

The really baffling thing about this is it was in Stella's constituency that one of the gender-neutral toilet assaults occurred. So assaults from shared-sex spaces have already happened "on her own turf" yet she has no intention of engaging with the issues that caused it.

Which incident was that @TrailWhale ?

FGS. No, Stella. Not engaging in this silliness and trying to negotiate through the salad any more. No more pretending, no more trying to reasonably argue, enough now.

TW are TW. There is nothing shameful about being a TW. And the one single qualifying characteristic required to be a TW is to be male.

Women are female. There's nothing shameful about that either.

What is shameful is insulting and erasing the entire female half of the population for head pats from male people. That's bloody shameful. Get a grip for pete's sake.

Thanks Artichoke - very well said.

TrailWhale · 30/05/2022 10:44

@WhereAreWeNow linked to you in DM - thought it best not to share it all again for the sake of the woman involved.

Xenia · 30/05/2022 11:20

I don't use Twitter other than very occasionally and think a lot of people like SC might be better not being on social media so much. However I certainly support free speech for all of just about any view on all these issues.
SC is wrong on the trans issue and luckily we are still free to say that in the UK.

Mandodari · 30/05/2022 11:29

PronounssheRa · 29/05/2022 21:50

Also for those not on twitter, Stella posted this in response to Helen Joyce, yep that's the Loretta scene from life of Brian.

Freudian slip via imagery 😂

Talk about making a show of yourself in public.
Someone should tell Ms Creasey if you are going to use a scene from a movie to insult someone, you should watch the whole movie first for fear of highlighting how dumb your own stance is.

Bdragon · 30/05/2022 11:41

Saying her timeline is 'impossible to read' - i.e. it's full of comments that don't support her.

Also the reference to 'grumpiness'. Hmmm, definite undertone to that, just like 'hysterical'. Silly menopausal women with their outdated outlook and moodiness.

Perhaps her wriggly baby is getting in the way again.

Grumpy and hysterical

sure

I very much hope people don’t vote her back in

Stella quote tweets Labour women's declaration as they had challenged Stella's claim that she had met with them.

Stella: I met with you in 2018
LWD: we didn't launch until November 2019.

Comedy gold - has anyone archived the Twitter thread? (Not on Twitter myself.)

TheBiologyStupid · 30/05/2022 12:02

FOJN · 29/05/2022 21:06

I see what you did there, are you here all week? 😀

I think she's just a knob.

Yup, Stella's managed to prove that at least one woman actually is a prick.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 30/05/2022 12:06

I have an account there and lurk! I may post some time.

TrailWhale · 30/05/2022 13:13

Any reference to this in the local social media groups is automatically being deleted - or very soon after being posted. Absolutely shocking that there is no where (as far as I can see) that is allowing comments that Stella Creasy has made to be discussed.

babyjellyfish · 30/05/2022 13:24

@TrailWhale That's appalling, but hopefully a good sign that Labour is starting to wake up to the fact that "women can have penises" has gone down like a bucketful of cold sick with a lot of voters.

Artichokeleaves · 30/05/2022 13:30

The whole 'if we don't let you say the words we can pretend it isn't happening' thing not really working out.

IcakethereforeIam · 30/05/2022 13:35

Is that on facebook? Maybe this is why twaw seems to be the consensus on fb, even more than on twitter. I'm not on either, so just speculating.

That's terrible @TrailWhale . Local Labour groups or just social FB groups? On what grounds are the comments deleted?

I don't think it's surprising that Facebook seems more TWAW than Twitter.

Most people are anonymous on Twitter, whereas on Facebook people post under their real names. They don't want to be branded transphobic, or risk social justice vigilantes screen shotting anything they say, stalking them on LinkedIn to find out where they work and dropping them in it with a Stonewalled HR department.
