Gosh, how very shocked I am that Linda Riley would do such a thing.

Riley is evidently relying on people being either ignorant of the truth or willing to ignore her lie because it happens to accord with their existing opinions. Says much about those who have liked, retweeted, or otherwise amplified her attempt at cultural appropriation, imho.

So it appears that Linda Riley may fairly claim to have popularised Lesbian Visibility Week in the UK. Which is laudable. But she's not entitled to kick out original participants, and Allison was one!

And doesn't she look glorious in that picture? She could be the human personification of Female Fortitude and Grace. 30 years later, they still haven't managed to grind the perseverence out of her.

So why didn't Linda Riley call it lesbian and transwoman visibility week? Lesbians aren't transwomen and vice versa. Lesbian visibility has nothing to do with transwomen so Linda has (accidentally but correctly) excluded, not included, transwomen by calling the event Lesbian Visibility Week.

Were transwomen to become involved in an event for lesbians, it would probably end up being Lesbian Invisibility Week and Transwoman Takeover Week.

I got kicked off and blocked from the DIVA Facebook group so I don't find Linda Riley very inclusive.

You also seem a bit muddled in your rant. Is it a critique of JKR, or of gender critical women? I don't fit in either of your categories, but think JKR is great. Her books inspired my kids, her charity work inspires me, and her courage in speaking up for women's rights is impressive.

As for being afraid of the mighty cock and balls, tbh I'm not very interested in them. Statistically though, people who have ever grown them are far more likely to be criminal and aggressive.
