You know, I think I can manage to accept that some women have different beliefs to me and STILL fight for women's rights. Maybe not the same set of women's rights as I do, but women's rights all the same. It doesn't even involve any cognitive dissonanace. Just an acceptance that when 2 protected characeteristics come into conflict there should be a respectful acknowledgement and no need for a battle.

Unlike gender ideologists who simply wish to destroy or subsume any rights they may come into conflict with.

To be strictly accurate, Baroness Nicholson was against same Sex marriage but respects the rule of law now the legislation has passed. It's called democracy and pluralism.

And what do all transwomen have in common with each other? They are all biological men.

Biological men cannot be lesbians because lesbians are same-sex attracted. It is also worth noting that lesbians are the only sexual orientation that exclude biological men, (and why some choose to target lesbians.)

We know. There was a long thread about that here at the time. Most of us decided, as did Baroness Nicholson, that she had the right to vote accordiing to her mores. Once the vote was cast and democracy decided she supports that ruling, it is the law, no matter how much her faith speaks against it.

It really is that simple. She is a woman of principle. If the democratically decided laws do not coincide with her personal beliefs then, in her professional undertakings, she complies with the law, enthusiastically. As she has shown since that vote.

It is no fault of hers that you cannot see that!

Caroline Farrow and Baroness Nicholson know that males cannot be lesbians. They know that lesbians are same sex attracted and that lesbian women have the right to exclude males from that. What they actually believe about the 'morality' of homosexuality is kind of irrelevant isn't it?
