Nokes is a nasty piece of work.

Agree with all the comments on here. Ironic that Nokes talks about taking the heat out of the debate and yet she's the one who is being all aggressive and asking leading questions! Very unimpressive.

Nokes is astonishingly rude, with a vastly overinflated notion of her own importance and intellectual capability.

Noakes is a liar. She says ' i am frantically trying to remember what ...... said about trans pupils in single sex dorms'' but she doesnt appear frantic at all... And then when Kemi says she has not heard the comment, Noakes is miraculously instantly able to remember it.

So she could remember easily, and she was not frantically trying. So that was a completely loaded question which she was trying to make casual. Horrendous woman.

She thinks everyone else is too dim to realise.

Fascinating how she outed herself as so rude and self important with a spectacular lack of respect for a woman with differing opinions. She was evidently uncomfortable with Kemi's senior role and knowledge of the subject. Methinks she's due some proper equality training rather than all the genderwoowoo conferences she's been attending.

CN seems to think her role is to needle evasive politicians in the manner of John Humphrys. Amazingly rude, biased, no interest in discovering anything or furthering the debate - pure point scoring as PP said. Nice to see some pushback.

Kemi was so dignified. I have utter respect for her. I could not have held my cool if I was being spoken to so rudely.

While Nokes certainly comes across as not being the brightest button in the box, I believe that talking over the chairman is considered as disrespectful to the committee as a whole, and procedurally unacceptable. Nokes was emphasising her authority and position. It's the committee's turf, not Badenoch's. Her attitude to Badenoch, on the other hand, was mere common or garden rudeness.

Hopefully she’ll win. Other countries have female PMs in their 40s. We’ve had a couple of male PMs in their 40s.
