Just received this by email from Graham.

Good man Graham, delighted for you x

KloppsTeeth · 25/01/2022 23:46

Congratulations Graham.

mammajustkilledagnat · 26/01/2022 07:43

Excellent news, well done!

UncleTonyinahotpinkbrandbeanie · 26/01/2022 11:55

Terrible news obviously.

I’m off for a round of golf with my very good friend who is currently on a, ahem, “sabbatical”, to commiserate.

Glinner · 26/01/2022 11:57

Thanks for the kind words, everyone, it means a lot.

Apollo441 · 26/01/2022 12:03

I know it would be great if more blue ticks stepped up but please know you aren't alone. Infact you are far from alone.

PrincessNutella · 26/01/2022 12:54

This is great news. But also so maddening!! You should have been alerted long ago!!!!

MuthaFunka61 · 26/01/2022 12:59

Go @Glinner!

Thank you is an inadequate word to describe the gratitude for all you've done and shouldered as a result.

You rock Flowers

FannyCann · 26/01/2022 13:56

Maybe you'll get a hole in one UncleTony

Don't forget to tee off from the Ladies' tee, it's only fair that manly friends have to hit that ball a bit further, what will all their extra muscle and might compared to a delicate Laydee.

Dinosaurwoman · 26/01/2022 14:00

Well done, I’m new to all this. I’m appalled at what I have just now seen that you have gone through.

TonyThreePies · 26/01/2022 14:06

Great news Glinner and thank you.
Has this been picked up by the press at all?

Triphazards · 26/01/2022 14:11

I simply had to go and see the hairy fruit growers' hate site that the fragrant "lawyer" referred to.

Good heavens I bet he'd like to sue them!

DrLouiseJMoody · 26/01/2022 14:30

Not all who settle do so out of "panic." In my case, I was quoted 50-60k for a high Court trial and I could not, in good conscience, Crowdfund (that's a big ask) for something that was making no wider political point. That and I knew recovering costs was hopeless (although I think they deserve to be pursued with a view to bankruptcy).

There was no panic about losing (advice was that my defence was strong). Just exasperation at a process that penalises the innocent and allows claim after claim to be made. Although that will hopefully be changing thanks to the efforts of everyone who have found themselves on the end of pointless litigation.

MrsTerryPratchett · 26/01/2022 14:36

There isn't a lot of justice when win or lose you're being punished to the tune of 50k.

RoyalCorgi · 26/01/2022 15:07

What does this mean for all the other people who have been harassed by Hayden? Is Hayden going to stop going after people now?

Can't help thinking of poor Kate Scottow and the appalling way she was treated by the criminal justice system after Hayden complained about her. Herts Police and the judge who convicted her should be made to apologise.

Abhannmor · 26/01/2022 18:02

Good man yer self @Glinner ! Time vexatious litigants were made accountable for the damage they cause .

Ooooh, do I hear the sound of a civil restraint order incoming?? Oh wouldn't that be absolutely lovely.

"Great news Glinner and thank you.

Nah, nothing it for them

Glinner · 26/01/2022 18:50

Gosh I never would have put Louise as someone who 'panicked'. Sorry if she felt personally slighted

LilithOfEden · 26/01/2022 18:52

Can you see if GB news will cover it? Especially in view of the way the mainstream press have covered the story.

DrLouiseJMoody · 26/01/2022 19:22

Apologies Graham. I think - and I am not exaggerating - that those of us who have dealt with them and their machinations have some sort of PTSD-type response. No-one would believe it unless they experience it for themselves: it is letter after letter after letter threatening injunctions, commital to prison, police reports, and on it went for two years. But you know this.

Still, we have no succeeded in banishing the 'ReporterLAL' account that Hayden interacted with and claimed to meet (I will make no further observation because I'd rather not have to deal with more insanity). A few more things are going on after we've all been pushed and pushed, and I'll update as and when I can.

DialSquare · 26/01/2022 19:26

Thanks for posting Louise. I know you've been through the wringer with this too.

Many congratulations Glinner - and thank you!

DrLouiseJMoody · 26/01/2022 20:44

I think vexatious litigant territory is six strike outs that prompts a review by the Attorney General. They are at least halfway there from what I can establish, and Judge Nicklin has requested to hear all their High Court cases going forward (I will not speculate why but cannot help inferences that others might make).

I would be curious to know, if Graham is able to share, what Hayden failed to send (asked to revise pleadings?). I'd also, and this is admittedly my being gloaty, like to see the order to strike out :)

ScreamingMeMe · 26/01/2022 20:57

Yup. The process is the punishment.
