Personal growth is not a single event, you don't arrive at personal growth, I believe my insights regarding these events in relation to last couple days and SM activity over last 3.5 years. I've been through an immensely stressful and challenging period of time. I'm approaching...the end and I feel I've done whatever necessary for my professional and personal development. As much a speeds to be developed in relation to these events, I feel I've got there. I understand why I'm sat answering questions and those lessons have been learnt

I have the screens re the f*ggtt comments. My tech skills aren’t up to editing out E, but he’s being disingenuous if he’s claim that she directed a slur at him.

She has a history of using that word in the context of actual witch-burning.

Yes, I seem to remember a screenshot of a tweet where "faggots" referred to wood-burning rather than being a homophobic slur. Is that the context you understand it in in the tweet?

The cross examination is frustrating.

It appears that Dr Harrop was a witness in support of golfer’s legal claim against E.

The doctor posted that anyone who donated to a Crowdfunder would be liable for costs if she lost.

It’s inappropriate and untrue. People would not be liable.

Harrop is also admitting he’s not legally trained but denies that there’s anything wrong with his tweet and the GMC haven’t pulled him up on the inaccuracy of it either.

To be fair, making an error about the law in a social media post wouldn't normally be a professional misconduct issue. If it were, there would be an awful lot of MN posters who could be in trouble.

That's absolutely routine, no matter how trustworthy the witness is. If it was a High Court Judge giving evidence, they'd give the same advice.

I reckon he's going for the passionate desire to do good/victim of nasty Twitter bullies/ damascene moment/ has now turned his back on social media and just wants to focus on helping most marginalised and vulnerable in society in his role as a caring doctor - QED they must let him keep practicing

slight derail but definitely want to explore this more.AH is like the bully's targeting Prof. Stock, JKR, Joanna Cherry. The need to control others. To enjoy the rewards they get from bullying - exciting as it stimulates the physical experience of power. espc. as they empower a mob to bully a target on their behalf. The Dolores umbridge narcissist types.

I was just thinking that. The Vice article shows him to be completely unrepentant because he thinks he is the victim of an unfair process. That then makes persuading the panel that you're genuinely contrite so much harder, doesn't it?

How does someone that dim get through medical school?
