Yes I also wondered if there’s been an agreement between them, maybe for her to take a settlement to leave and not sue their arses, but who knows. I can understand her not wanting to be there, and the publicity helps expose the bullies and what’s gone on.

Maybe she’s had a great job offer or will be self-employed and make a living from writing. I hope it’s a great new start for her.

for Dr Stock, who is far too good for Sussex. She has shone a huge amount of sunlight, and at great personal cost. I'd be ready to dig for her any time, if she chooses to go down that route.

Very sorry to hear this but Prof Stock needs to look after herself first.

Might look like a victory for the bullies but it isn't. Next year when Allison Bailey gets to court, the way that Stonewall and TRAs have persecuted lesbians will be common knowledge, will be regarded with revulsion and the cultural landscape will be very different.

I hope she takes a break, and has a great job lined up somewhere else. It’s Sussex loss

Agree. I think any TRA glee right now would prove misplaced. I hope so.

Appalling that it's come to this, but I hope lots of better things are in store for Stock. She can leave with her head held high for sure.

Agree btw that Sussex's recent support came too late, but I thought Tickell's stance seemed genuine and I'd like to hope he'll still follow that up with seeing those bullies held to account. 🤞

I'm gutted for her and hope she's ok - I can only imagine the stress (& fear) she was living under.
