Do Muslim women have a right to adjust their head scarf or change their clothing in a female only space due to their religious beliefs or are they bigots?

PanicPrevention · 25/10/2021 02:00

i dont need to see your naked penis to know youve got one.
when im semi naked or vulnerable in any way i dont want penis people near me.
for reasons I dont need to go into here.
you want acceptance? and describing people by body parts and functions is ok now, ask your fellow penis owners/ejaculators to stop raping and kilking us. then we accept you.
ive seen no transwomen fighting against male violence.
if there is one point me in that direction beacause id love to see it, meanwhile it looks like yall got time on your hands to cancel comedians and doxx 80yo authors.

Tilltheend99 · 25/10/2021 02:01

Thank you @Blibbyblobby for that clear and succinct breakdown.

@OldCrane
Because... this discussion was specifically about toilets for a good couple pages now? And now you seem to be suddenly changing the subject?

Here's the better question: why exactly does every trans and trans-supporting person online have to be constantly pestered about prison policy?

It's not like prisons are an essential part of most trans people's existence. It just seems like a manufactured wedge issue to bludgeon trans people with more than anything else.

You're right. Shove the TWs back into Mens prisons,

No one cares.

NonnyMouse1337 · 25/10/2021 02:05

Do female prisoners, many of whom have a history of sexual and physical abuse, have a right to not be housed with male prisoners, many of whom are sexual offenders or does it make them bigots?

NoNotMeNoSiree · 25/10/2021 02:06

Penis people Grin
That description did make me actually laugh out loud
I might have got asked why are you all so obsessed with toilets (Er, I was referring to posts already on the thread?)
but in the same vein why are you so obsessed with genitals you feel the need to say penis people?!

SpookySeason77 · 25/10/2021 02:07

@CorvusPurpureus

Have we had a sneery & dismissive comment yet about how silly women worrying about willies in female spaces are just, like, paranoid about being raped?

Why yes, of course we have.

Trans women's mere presence in a women's bathroom is not literally rape, as @PanicPrevention was insinuating.
NonnyMouse1337 · 25/10/2021 02:09

Does a teenage girl have a right to single-sex toilets where she can change her blood soaked sanitary pad or wash her blood stained underwear without feeling upset and anxious and humiliated with males in her school seeing her in such a state or does that make her a bigot?

NonnyMouse1337 · 25/10/2021 02:12

Does a woman who was sexually assaulted as a young girl in a communal changing area have a right to single-sex changing spaces to enable her to go to the gym, swimming pool etc without getting flashbacks or does that make her a bigot?

WeeBisom · 25/10/2021 02:12

Wow, there’s some nasty posters on here tonight! Have we at least had an answer to the question “what is a woman”? at any point or has it just been nothing but tantrums ?

NoNotMeNoSiree · 25/10/2021 02:14

Blood soaked sanitary pads get changed in the cubicle though, why would you be seen doing that?
You change it and put it in the sanitary bin, behind closed doors.
As for underwear, do people wash them out in the sinks in the ladies?
Never seen that, and even if people do, how many people carry around spare underwear with them at all times?
Surely it would make more sense to change pads and get clean underwear when you get home, as washing them out in the sink would just make you have soggy pants.

Mere presence is not literally rape but as transwomen are statistically just as likely to rape as any other males, why would women not worry about their presence in an area where they are vulnerable

PanicPrevention · 25/10/2021 02:16

putting your penis somewhere its not wanted is rape culture, its breaking womens boundaries. it's making women feel unsafe. not that i suppose you care.
take your dick anywhere you want.
nobody will stop you. (women know we get beat when we antagonise entitled males)
its not rape. i know what that is thanks.
but it is male dominance that thieves in a patriarchal rape culture.

It was only about toilets because you brought it up.

I just wondered why you think that's the most important issue. It's always brought up on these threads by people who say TWAW.

Women in prison can't escape from the rapists who are now being sent to women's prisons because they say they are women.

Elderly and disabled women who need personal care should be able to ask for a female carer (not someone who has or had a penis) without being called a bigot.

Girls in school shouldn't have to share changing rooms with boys who say that they're girls.

PleaseGoDontGoAgain · 25/10/2021 02:19

Soo what we know is.

Transwomen are NOT raped by a Mans literal presence in the bathroom.

Sooo no reason for Transwomen not to use Male bathrooms.

@SpookySeason77 Just spelt it out

Thanks Spooky.

The notion that somehow a teenage cis girl would be at risk of being humiliated due to the presence of an occasional transgender schoolmate or two in the bathroom is frankly ridiculous.

A trans girl would be at risk of being seen out of place just on account of being trans. The idea of cis girls being the ones bullied by trans girls, considering just how tiny a minority trans people are, is laughable.

Have you ever met any teenagers?

Do you think it's inconceivable that a boy would pretend to be trans if doing so would gain him access to the girls' changing rooms?

SpookySeason77 · 25/10/2021 02:27

@OldCrone
The overwhelming majority of rapes committed against female prisoners are committed by guards, not transgender inmates. I don't see any of you saying a peep about that little fact for some reason.

Almost as if incancerated women aren't actually the concern, but rather, they are just one of many convenient rhetorical tools to stoke hatred against transgender people.

How would you know that the presence of a member of the opposite sex wouldn't traumatise her and humiliate her?

How does putting prisoners with penises in women's prisons stop the guards assaulting the female prisoners?

Have you met any teenagers? Do you think a student coming out as trans wouldn't be at exceedingly high risk of becoming a target of bullying?

Hands can get bloody at times. Underwear and clothing can get stained if you're not wearing a pad when your period starts. If the stain is small enough, it's easy to quickly wash the patch and let it dry out.

A friend had a miscarriage in a shopping mall and luckily was able to go to the single-sex toilets with her female friend. It was an awful experience but at least she didn't have to also deal with the indignity of having males in such spaces.

You may have led a charmed life, and you're free to share toilets and other facilities with males. But you don't get to deny other women their single-sex spaces.

OldCrone · 25/10/2021 02:32

I don't understand your argument spooky.

Is it that the women are going to get raped anyway, so why not just put more people with penises (potential rapists) in there?
