Just a heads up Kellie Jay back for a second time in a new YT interview with the lads on Triggernometry. 😊👍

Oh that's brilliant! I'd be keen to see how the Triggernometry guys and her interact this time, and what's changed since their last interview with her.

CreepingDeath · 02/10/2021 20:02

That's good that they have her back on, her last interview had over a million views as I recall. I love that she pulled no punches.
I remember Konstantin gave her a bit of a hard time before aswell, apparently he is friends with India Willoughby (?) so maybe took some offence on their behalf. But usually they are pretty open to lots of different views.

Gotta love Posie, she has been sounding the alarm on this for a long time, and was ignored and ridiculed for it before many of the rest of us (I include myself in that) woke up and really understood what was going on.

JoodyBlue · 02/10/2021 20:26

I honestly don't think he gave her a hard time. He was just acting as a proper interviewer and asking her questions and putting an opposing view. She was more than up to answering. We need more of that.

The interview they did with India was good too. I think really valuable to have those two interviews in the archive. It is good to watch them one after the other. We need to debate to see the flaws in all our arguments and thereby reach a consensus one day.

Gncq · 02/10/2021 20:38

I honestly don't think he gave her a hard time.

From what I recall there was interruption, mansplaining, misrepresentation etc with PP. Notably absent from any of his interviews with transwomen.

Gncq · 02/10/2021 20:39

Looking forward to the interview.

ChattyLion · 02/10/2021 20:44

She’s great. Reminds me to check out her YouTube.

EmbarrassingAdmissions · 02/10/2021 20:48

I watched a recent RAW of theirs. No interviews, but KK produced lazy thinking and no preparatory research. I take it that's different for the interviews and probably more informal - I'll accept this if he was as rigorous with India W as he sounds with Posie.

JoodyBlue · 02/10/2021 20:50

@Gncq yes but my point was she was more than up to answering. Her interview stands up to all of that scrutiny. It was therefore impeccable. KK I think was coming from having interviewed India, he put the points that India made. In doing so he gave PP the opportunity to answer them.

Brilliant, I love watching a woman who does not appologise for standing up for womans rights. The schock on mens faces is always a pictureSmile

It's like reading or listening to Julia Long, same lack of apology. Likewise this call: Dear Feminists: Be Meaner

The other day, I saw a video of Germaine Greer’s iconic interview for the first time. In it, after Greer makes a controversial statement, the interviewer asks her, “do you understand why some people would find that offensive?” And Greer, incredulous, responds, “…I don’t care!”

I don’t care. Three very simple words that set my heart racing a bit. Because we don’t say that enough. As women we are taught to care. About everything except ourselves. So it’s jarring to see a woman say that—and mean it.

yes but my point was she was more than up to answering.

Indeed. You could have a soft-soap interview with Posie, but it would be a bit of a waste.

She's at her best smacking daft ideas and questions down.

Yes! ❤️
NutellaEllaElla · 03/10/2021 06:53

Thanks for the heads up I will take a look.

Don't know who Drably is addressing with "you lot" and don't care.

CatsOperatingInGangs · 03/10/2021 08:04

If anyone hasn’t seen her first interview with the Triggernometry lads, do so before watching this new one. Not only is PP brilliant like others have said, the shift in tone mirrors nicely the shift in the public consciousness of gender woo woo.
I’m really looking forward to it.

OhHolyJesus · 03/10/2021 08:33

This will be good.

Maybe the Trig boys will have changed their minds about the hormone washing thing Willoughby convinced them of. Or maybe they will be convinced that Willoughby does have an actual cervix?

Will be watching.

NecessaryScene · 03/10/2021 08:46

Some more "vintage" Posie while we're waiting.

I still think this is possibly my favourite: - her tale of going to a libfem meeting and not being very submissive.

Lottapianos · 03/10/2021 08:51

Excellent! Really enjoyed her last Triggernometry interview. I think she opened both of their eyes to the reality of the situation for women. KK talked about people being 'born in the wrong body' at one point and she challenged him straight away. I think he was starting to get it by the end

NecessaryScene · 03/10/2021 08:57

I think she opened both of their eyes to the reality of the situation for women.

Actually, yes. They did say this. She they and talked about that. And about the viewer perception of their "pushback".

Thanks for reminding me - it's not as classic Posie as my clips above, but it's worth watching just to hear their thoughts on it.

(And they have posted on Mumsnet in the past and had brief discussions. Waves to @Triggerpod)

NonnyMouse1337 · 03/10/2021 09:09

Might Willoughby reveal this mystery cervix they possess on a subsequent Triggernometry interview? Shock

OhHolyJesus · 03/10/2021 09:51

Thanks for that last share Necessary, that was one I missed.

Looking forward to the reunion tonight.

334bu · 03/10/2021 11:02

She really doesn't hold backGrin Thanks for posting original interview.

JoodyBlue · 03/10/2021 12:56

@NecessaryScene I rewatched the links you shared this morning. What really strikes me is she talks as women used to talk, when we were allowed to speak. She reminds me of uni friends in pubs, laughing, being rude, and funny. From a time in our very recent history when women had each others backs. There was real female solidarity and it gave women strength and girls role models. I feel so very sad that in the intervening 10 years or so such an insidious and misogynist message has been passed to young people via schools and unis. My generation were entirely accepting of, and warm and friendly towards transgender people when we were allowed to accept that women were women and transgender people were transgender.

OhHolyJesus · 03/10/2021 13:22

Let's get back there Joody. We can go back to that.

beastlyslumber · 03/10/2021 14:17

@Gncq

I honestly don't think he gave her a hard time.

From what I recall there was interruption, mansplaining, misrepresentation etc with PP. Notably absent from any of his interviews with transwomen.

They apologised to her for how they treated her. And said how much she had opened their eyes to what's going on.

They are way, way more on KJ's wavelength now, so I think it will be a good interview!
