I think it’s more a badly chosen sentence used on the front page for eye-catching effect. The story inside is quite interesting and does use the normal words ‘women’ and ‘girls’.
The story, by Sophia Davis, is about an exhibition at London’s Vagina Museum, which is threatened with closure.
Oddly though, the Vagina Museum seems to be run by genderists. That would explain their choice of the female part most used by men, rather than, say, The Uterus Museum or The Women’s Amazing Bodies Museum.
A mumsnetter reported in 2018 the museum's strapline was about "celebrating vaginas & the people who have them". The organiser then announced a future event featuring Sophie LaBelle of Assigned Male. FFS. What finished it off for me was a look at their website, where they explain that they don't talk about female reproductive systems because that would be trans-exclusionary.
