If your argument for the enforcement of same-sex provision is unable to account for the existence of a not insignificant portion of the world's population who patently defy it, then it's a flawed argument
No this ^ is a flawed argument. Just because there are a number of people who don’t like a situation and want to breach the rules or “defy” the wish of women to have their own safe spaces in situations where it’s necessary, does not mean there’s something wrong with that need and provision existing. In fact the opposite. It is because predatory and aggressive males want access to women and girls that such spaces are needed.
“If your argument for the enforcement of private locked homes is unable to account for the existence of a not insignificant portion of the world's population who patently defy it, then it's a flawed argument”
“If your argument for the enforcement of policing is unable to account for the existence of a not insignificant portion of the world's population who patently defy it, then it's a flawed argument”
And so on. People defy stuff, that doesn’t make them right.
Butterfly I really think if you could stop trying the tactic “take flawed argument - dress it up in long words and authoritative-sounding verbiage” and actually think, consider that others are as important as you, and have needs that matter even if you can’t relate to them - you would make a giant leap. And come over less male.
