I really, really resent Ed telling me that I 'don't understand' with regard to anything.
It all seems so familiar. Man tells women to 'pipe down because you're clearly hard of thinking'.

Agree that LD's are fucked and they deserve it. Locally, nationally, it's just too hard, annoying and pointless to work out what they are for. So easy to forget they exist until they pop up again with some woman-sidelining/hating crap.

A changing room of teenage girls changing for swimming
A girl's dormitory in a boarding school
The women's showers in a workplace
Any hospital room where a woman is undressed and being examined
The girls toilets in a school
Every women's refuge and rape crisis centre.
A woman being strip searched in a prison

Can’t see any party worth voting for right now because of the misogyny we are seeing. As along time labour voter, I did actually vote Lib Dem on the back of opposing Brexit as at least they were clear. Now their clarity will lose them women’s votes. So be it. The consequences are far wider. Denial of single sex spaces for girls and women also means the denial of single sex services and any sex-based Safeguarding.

At least he's answered the Staniland question -that male sexed people must be allowed to undress and shower in a changing room with undressing teenage girls if they want to.

Always good to let the electorate know where a politician stands on matters relating to safeguarding of children.

Lifetime LD voter here. On our corruption tory-led council our local LD councillors have always been brilliant - one went for MP last GE and I so, so wanted to vote for him but I couldn't, because of shite like this. Last local election I couldn't vote for the LD either and they were the only people who door knocked and I had to tell them why and they did not get it.
