I saw a tweet saying that this is so - can’t see anything else though.

Tell me it’s not true...

The time has come for my brother, brother in law and male cousins to rediscover their inner lassie... and cause havoc and mischief.

My grandfather would have had a bloody field day and would have really enjoyed it all (he hated bullies, was very assertive and had a wicked sense of humour). I’m not sure what dad would have thought - probably bemused (he didn’t ‘do’ angry).

Remember you have 8 MSPs and send your email to all of them

Regarding key points have a look at For Women Scotland site.

If self ID comes in in Scotland then there won't be any way to gatekeep how 'Scottish' you have to be to access it. And TRA organisations will help people access a Scottish address or whatever they might need for admin.

So it will be de facto UK wide.

I think that is a point to make to UK politicians as well as MSPs.

littlbrowndog · 07/09/2021 17:24

It takes a 100 days in Scotland to identify as a woman

Then you are the same as any other woman

100 days living as a woman. Whatever that means

KittenKong · 07/09/2021 17:26

Baking cookies and wearing lipstick? Donning a dress and swirling? Talking like Marilyn Monroe? Shaving your legs and plucking your brows? Calling yourself Titiana Divine? High heels?

What what what? No one has ever told me. I was not informed...

How the fuck do you live as a woman

KittenKong · 07/09/2021 17:30

Well if it’s anything like my grandma... that might be fun. But then she was a young woman during WW2 and got up to allsorts.

Where are the Consultation responses Nicola?

Your government promised that they would be published, but instead have merely 'summarised' the private responses from individual women and attempted to put a spin on the results, citing self declared 'feminists' who are happy to give away the rights of women to males.

I would bet my left ear that the vast majority of responses SHOW clearly that women oppose this legislation and that it will have serious detrimental effect on their public life. THIS is why they are not being published.

Many women, myself included, testified their trauma and declared themselves willing to have their testimonies published, so fearful were we about the impact of self ID on our own and other women's lives. You have buried these testimonies. Furthermore, personal details are now known to the very many trans rights activists in your administration, many of whom frequently call women like us bigots on Twitter etc. I knew that was a risk, but I took the risk because the responses were to be published. This was a lie.

I will be investigating if this can be legally challenged.

Yep 17000 responses from ordinary people were not released

They should have shown us them

Who exactly is she trying to appease. Because 13 year olds don’t have the vote.

Transman, Dylan, on BBC Radio Scotland just now (5.30-5.45 ish - was driving) who is getting hormones, in spite of being 16/17 from Gender GP.

Not sure how to link but it is heartbreaking and very much confirmed my worries about the effect this will have on young girls.

Wants a double mastectomy ("top surgery") before Uni to be "my authentic self"). Keeping it secret where going abroad for surgery as not allowed until 18 in England.

Helen Webberley doing her thing online and providing the hormones.

So shocked and appalled that this is seen as care for someone who is still so young.

littlbrowndog · 07/09/2021 17:55

Gawd. It’s terrible what’s happening to teenagers.

Double mastectomy. Untested hormone treatment s

I’ve just heard a 17 year old girl who who wants to be a man on Radio Scotland drive time who started hormone treatment in April supplied by Gender GP. She is planning “ top surgery “ aboard very soon. I missed the start of the interview but it should be on BBC Sounds shortly if anyone else what’s to listen. It’s appalling and sad.

I think Dylan is better described as a transboy. They do seem terribly young, much younger than most kids of that age.

Radio 4 PM just ended an item on her priorities by mentioning this and then saying something like, 'she [feminist to her fingertips Nic] will face opposition from the Scottish Parliament and wider society'.

Gosh, that was honest BBC. I think Nic isn't expecting that though, other than from right wing transphobes. Maybe it will WAKE. HER.THE. FUCK.UP.
