Good news but honestly the writing "throwing support behind"?

This is the Gold standard of journalism? How about "in support of", "expressed support for". Not the point I know but still.

When did it expire? How much did it cost? Who decided not to renew?

Just to update, there are now at least 8 other Police & Crime Commissioners supporting Lisa Townsend (PCC, Surrey) and/or expressing concerns about Stonewall.

Dorset
Avon & Somerset
Herts
Lincs
Hants and IOW
Leics

Including Surrey, there are 2 female PCCs on this list and 7 males. All Con.
