Ok, small voice of sanity here - this thread has been a magnificent example of a TRA saying some incredibly bigoted things.

This is a serious question. When a gay man has worked out than he does not find the female crotch attractive, what is he supposed to do about transmen approaching him if he's not allowed to say he's only interested in biological males? Just keep avoiding the subject in perpetuity?

What, in your perfect world, Bluebird, would you be entitled to do when you noticed he always turned transmen down and only had relationships with biological males? Would he have to go out with the next transman who asked him out to show he wasn't a bigot?

All we would ask of him is to not be transphobic towards trans men, or claim that his sexuality inherently excludes them. Easy. You are denying same sex attraction, demanding gay men include females in their dating pool, and flinging slurs at them if they don't.

I think it might be worth discussing what can be done to combat this recent resurgence of overt and brazen homophobia as a focal point away from further derailing.

To be fair, the thread has been a live demonstration of the abuse that homosexual people face on the basis of their sexuality.

Your belief system has so far lead you to make misogynistic, racist and homophobic remarks. You can’t even accept the basic requirement for being trans is to be the opposite sex to who you perceive yourself to be.

Or have you not had enough attention paid to you today? Because to anyone reading who sees your “we will anyway” type remarks will not come away thinking you- speaking for the trans community- are in any way interested in how TRA ideology affects women, children, LGB people or indeed anyone really. They will see you are aggressively making demands and laughing about removing the rights of others (to single sex spaces, to define your own sexuality, to say no to sexual harassment).

Being a gay male DOES inherently exclude trans men though. That's what homosexuality is. Why should a gay man pretend otherwise just because it might hurt someone's feelings?
