I know TRAs are very strong on believing transwomen are women, but here it's just bizarre... do they honestly think Chris Chan is female? From Chris Chan's own history, it seems they didn't start identifying as female until quite late on, and then it was part of the desperate quest to get a girlfriend.

They don't think any man is female. But as there is no criteria to make a distinction, then they all are.

What they clearly do think is that any man is entitled to do and say what he likes, and sleep with whoever he wants.

That's the actual distinction.

No-one is owed sex, if you can't get it learn to live without it. Strong incel/man vibe as they do believe they are entitled to sex and can't stand the fact that women are the gatekeepers of what they feel they are owed.

I think the difference between most of us and these extremists is, they see the use of preferred pronouns as a matter of respecting fundamental human rights. So for them, saying "you shouldn't misgender a rapist" is like saying that we shouldn't torture or murder them - we have to respect their human rights despite their terrible crime.

Whereas for most of us, use of preferred pronouns is a matter of courtesy, and we see no particular reason to be polite about a rapist. No human rights issue is involved.

Or, if a human rights issue is involved, it's rather the issue of free speech on the part of those who want to describe accurately the sex of someone.

I propose an option that will please both sides of the issue…

The press release when he was transferred to a different county jail (he was arrested in a different county from where the crime was committed) used male pronouns.

The authorities are well aware of how many eyes are watching this. It wasn’t an accidental misgendering… I hope.

On reddit some posters are saying that he only responds to male or they/them pronouns and has been quite open about pretending to be a woman in order to try and have sex with lesbians.

Of course these posters were immediately shouted down for being bigots and misgendering
