K-J says if weather is too bad for outdoors, she's hired a pub venue we can all retire to.

For those who may need a map... Also note the location of nearby toilets, should you need them.

Was there any trouble, after Katy Montgomerie tried to stir some up? I do hope not!

So sad I couldn't be there. It look oks like it was a great day. Well done everyone who attended and everyone who spoke. Some great speeches. StarWineStar

It was a really good day, and amazingly, the rain held off until after the speeches!

There was no trouble, and disappointingly, no one offered me a wife or any far right funding, either Sad Posie Parker gave me a placard and some stickers, but that really isn’t what I’ve been led to believe is in it for me. Ah well!

I'm so glad I went, I joined the whatsapp for my local group there too. I have some lovely stickers to put around now.

None. I'm surprised bo one turns up to spoil such a published event given the nature of TRAs. It felt very safe.

I noticed there was no TRA monitors at all. It was a big crowd too.
Were they frightned off by the rumors of the far right coming? or do you think the penny has dropped about how bad the optics are of attacking women trying to defend other woman and children from flashers?
Who knows, but it was a lovely atmosphere and great speeches.

Yes, I too was surprised that there was no disruption. It was a genuinely family-friendly event. I did not agree with everything every speaker said, but that's OK - they're allowed to say it and we're allowed to debate it, exactly as Posie's stickers:

Lovely to see the photos on twitter. Funny how there’s not a single call for violence or murder, and everyone is smiling and looks like they are having a nice, chilled day.

Funny that...

I just saw a clip from the gathering on twitter showing a woman claiming George Soros was funding the "transhumanist" movement and that the mRNA vaccines against Covid changed your DNA Hmm was that for real?

I think that was the one speech I didn't agree with. Posie did say at the start that it was a free speech event and we don't have to agree on everything.

I suspect that was the one @JellySlice hinted at.
