There's little point, I think, in taking legal action against random cartoon accounts with 10 followers. One of the things I believe you have to prove in defamation cases is the reach of the thing said about you. So who said it is a factor in deciding to sue. (caveat IANAL)

Anyone with a public profile, a large number of followers or a blue tick should be cautious in what they say though.

He's actually reasonably influential. He's involved in A Thousand Flowers, and is part of the small group of people trying to undermine womens rights in Scotland.

I came here to post Joylon's tweet. I know I shouldn't be, but I'm astonished by it. So many issues, but my main concern is that he seems to be ignoring the fact that 13 year olds are still children.

I also can't see any tweets where he condemns the act of posting porn as a silencing tactic. He seems more concerned with portraying JKR as a hysterical woman clutching her pearls about a non-existent threat to children. Absolutely despicable.

As far as I am aware their is an age limit for having a twitter account but not for an account holder showing a tweet to someone without an account.

I follow funny cat/dog memes accounts and I show them to my child. I screen them first. She has no social media.
