I believe that in Canada, any male sex offenders who “self identify” as women are indeed enabled to serve their sentences in the female estate. A situation which is every bit as detrimental to the women prisoners there as you might imagine.

So yes. It’s very likely that if convicted, this man-who-says-he’s-a-woman will end up in a women’s prison. Happy days.

I don’t want it hidden away, but I want the thread to stay - I was worried about it being deleted for being in the wrong place - I’d rather it stood somewhere than be deleted.

It's no surprise to see this has happened in Canada and no surprise that the individual is a man.

A child is being lied to and gaslight into believing he was assaulted by a woman.
The crime will be recorded as having been committed by a woman.
If there is a prison sentence given it will be served by said man in the female prison estate.

It is upsetting that these crimes are falsely being ascribed to women. This is a specific kind of crime that historically has overwhelmingly been committed by men.

Disgusted at how Canada cannot see they are further abusing an innocent child by calling this attacker a woman.

Re the women’s prison question, bear in mind that many women’s prisons have mother and baby/child units. How happy this paedophile predator would be to find himself alongside one of those.

Not only a poor attempt to gaslight the Canadian public, but also - crucially - to do the same with the poor little boy.
Imagine: the boy tells police he was assaulted by a man. The perpetrator is found and identified. Police etc insist it was a female perpetrator. The poor little victim KNOWS it was a male. Everyone around him including the media collude in this.
The little boy is NOT ONLY ASSAULTED but also LIED TO.

I notice that the (currently) 6% who believe that this is a woman don’t have the bottle to come on here and argue their point.

So some publications are not using the word ‘woman’ in articles about birth and women's health, and instead refer to ‘people’ or parts of anatomy, but are use ‘woman’ to describe a biologically male perpetrator of sex crime!

"Woman" is a dirty word except when describing a male sex offender.

This is beyond nuts. That photo is definitely of a biological male. And this is the picture of what the problem is.

This picture is a perfect example of what the trans community will face. The trans community will likely face backlash over this, and more incidents of a similar nature.

When the actual problem is bloody men. Men who have been, are and will use the trans umbrella to abuse the use of self-id. THIS is the problem that lots of women are pushing back on - not to discriminate against the trans community. To push back on MEN who will abuse the rights of that community.

That poor kid - can’t even put into words how on Earth they are supposed to process and deal with the fact that they will know what situation took place, yet it will be phrased - in legal terms - in the completely opposite way.

And as someone else said upthread, the impact on records for crime data is going to start to become really skewed.

I’ve not used voting very often, but am sure I’ve seen posters on other threads say that you can go back and revote correctly. I may be wrong, hopefully someone else can advise.
