... or at least, they don't give stuff about those who want to use the loo as a single sex space.

"Last night, Sainsbury's said: 'We're committed to being a truly inclusive retailer where every single one of our colleagues is treated fairly and with respect.'"

  • unless of course that colleague is a woman who wants a single sex loo or changing room in which case there is absolutely no provision for her none at all.

Did a google of "sainsbury's sexual assault" to list the cases.

Found this www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2020/08/sainsburys-signs-legal-agreement-to-prevent-sexual-harassment/

Interesting, because Sainsbury’s are also getting a battering from the woke crowd at the moment for advertising on GB News and because the boss donates a lot to the Conservative party. So they may be sucking up to a certain demographic that is planning to boycott them anyway.

They also seem to be one of the companies who do the most rainbow washing during pride month. Ugly new versions of the flag everywhere. As a member of the LGBT community it just puts me off shopping there.

That's interesting, Kwik.

Baroness Nicholson is Tory and might have an opinion on the toilets, if the DM whistleblower article is true. I do enjoy her emails to CEOs about single sex spaces, she's very eloquent.

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/if-its-social-justice-companies-want-they-should-start-with-their-workers-pj8m86jb3 Sorry I don't have a share token but found this yesterday evening (Business pages are my last bit Grin. Although not about Sainsbury's, it is about the new wave of 'Social justice' companies who think we are interested in their credentials.

James Kirkup does a good job of drawing together a lot of research showing that we, the spending public, are not interested. We want companies to do good by relieving poverty and or helping local communities. In the business section, I thought this an important find because Times and Financial Times are read by big business, so a well placed piece.

That is interesting, Highame and yes, that is what I want.

I don't much care about what wording Sainsbury's exec office have on their inclusion policies - I want my Muslim neighbour to be able to go for a pee half way through her shop because she's heavily pregnant and that struggle is real.

You're right, I'm furious because women's bladders and safety and dignity should matter as much as someone's discomfort with their gender.

Isn't Lord Sainsbury a Labour Peer?

#silentsainsburys trending on twitter.

Nigel Farage gets paid by their advertising?

Isn't Lord Sainsbury a Labour Peer?

I think they’re referring to John Sainsbury who is president and a Tory donor.

The campaign is run by Led By Donkeys, who were objecting to Sainsbury’s ads being run on GB News. I think they specifically had a problem with the Nigel Farage show because he was ranting about lifeboats in his usual charmless manner. Sainsbury’s have now pulled their advertising.

So, I guess if we want Sainsbury’s to listen, a boycott is in order. Especially since women are the core demographic who actually shop there.
