At about 1pm on Sunday 27th June Kellie Jay Keen ("Posie Parker") is going to stand outside the New Zealand embassy with a stepladder, a loudhailer and a banner to protest that Laurel Hubbard has denied a deserving sportswoman a place in the Olympics. And will probably steal a woman's medal.

It would be great if people who care about women's sports could go along to support her.

Won't all the feminists be at the anti austerity march? Austerity has had a vastly disproportionate impact on women, as have government policies around the pandemic.

I imagine Posie will do exactly what she wants, and good for her.

I wish I could get down to London to support this protest.

Sadly not even in the UK, or I'd be there with bells on.

S.C at 12 noon, then about 1230 or 40 PP will walk to the NZ embassy.

It's almost as if people can't be passionate about two issues at the same time. I can't be there (on account of being far from London) but hopefully all will go well.

Yes quite. Why aren't they over on Feminist Chat posting lots of trans positive intersectional feminism, instead of engaging in a "debate" page, when, by their own philosophy, there should be "no debate".

But how do we know it has more of an impact on women, when we can’t even say what a woman is ?
