No doubt. This is pre-emptive reporting, too, so best report everyone just on the off-chance they one day commit a thought crime. So we know and can take measures to avoid that.

I am sure Joss would not be so unwise to attempt to target a whole group of people on the basis that they hold a protected belief under the EA. That might place some firms at risk of appearing to discriminate against people due to protected beliefs should they exercise specific scrutiny of that group.

Well, someone already tried it with Miranda Yardley, got as far as court, went just about as well as you'd expect!

I am going to be reporting myself to my employers as GC. Have already made it pretty clear where my opinion sits and after Mayas ruling, it is time to ensure that others with the same view as me are free to express them, in a respectful way, in the workplace.

I'll just turn myself in now I reckon (biology teacher).

Questions need to be asked as to why the CPS not only decided to prosecute Miranda Yardley in these circumstances, but were also so quick to inappropriately label it an incidence of “transgender hate crime”.
