It might be as simple as a response to a question in an interview that was planned to be about something else. I'd certainly feel mischievousness enough to do a follow-up on his previous comments in a new promotional piece.

He's not "pro-trans" @Shizuku, not least because he's here admitted he knows fuck-all about the issue. What many of us have a problem with was when he revealed himself to be anti-JKR, again when he knew fuck-all about the issue.

It's nice that he's trying to backtrack here, don't get me wrong. But it would've been even nicer if he hadn't said anything horrible to backtrack from in the first place.

Yes. I do rather notice that who it is on non-trans threads who comes in to thank the OP for posting it and perhaps mentions that they have donated to the organisation that is being signal boosted on the thread.

The Venn diagram shows considerable overlap with the GC women who are lambasted as obsessed with trans. Puzzling.
