Its a subcategory of straight that means that straight people can now be included in the lgbtqi+ categories. Or something. Hooray! Fight for my superstraight rights too Stonewall!. Or something

The hashtag it has given lesbians and gay men the opportunity to (again) point out the homophobia in insisting that same-sex attracted people must include opposite sex people in their dating pool.

I notice the tras have lots of "hijack" posts on that hastag. They are all weirdly the same though. Announcement of very complicated identity (trans nonb Sagittarius aromantic juggler fetishist) followed by 'and here is my art' which is invariably shite anime.

Imagine trying so, so hard to be special and just being exactly the same...

What a load of nonsense, but always good for a laugh, when hearing about crazy things.

Looking at this and some of the recent discussions on Reddit, I'm wondering whether Gen Z just aren't on board with all this identity stuff like the Millennials. Maybe Gen Z are seeing this at first hand with identity obsessions raging through their cohorts and don't feel they need to show it the demanded level of respect, although will play the game to some degree.

I think so too, my teen DDs are happy to call people by their preferred, but think making a meal out of every semantic change is ridiculous. One is a lesbian, and is attracted to female genitalia. Being told she's transphobic will not change her sexual attraction. The same people who bang on about sexuality and transgenderism not being a choice are the ones who want people to CHOOSE their sexual preferences based on what suits them. They started identifying the nonsense when one of their peers at school wanted to be known as "mew/mewself" and said she was triggered by emojis...

Again, the same people who insist sexuality and transgenderism is not a choice are the ones pressuring others to CHOOSE their sexual preferences based on what suits them.

I do not believe sexuality is a choice by the way, which is why people can't choose to be attracted to the genitalia of a same sex person when they are heterosexual, and vice versa! Not transphobic, just straight logic.

I dunno, with the extent of Stonewall capture being what it is, I'd be very worried about what was being taught as critical thinking in any school right now.

No, bisexual according to gender ideology theory nowadays means attracted to both old genders - man and woman. Pansexual means attracted to everyone regardless of gender, or if you will attracted to all genders.

DSS (17) was telling us about it this morning. He said he’d had a great debate with one of his mates last night, she was arguing that he was transphobic because he said he wasn’t attracted to trans women.

He said it was like a lightbulb went off in his brain - hang on, Oreos has definitely told me about this! He talked about women in sport and domestic abuse shelters, and said he felt like he got his point across.

I was so proud when he told us about it all this morning!

The anime accounts declaring #superstraight to be invalid is amusing. Using gender ideology speak, #superstraight is the sexual orientation of someone being exclusively attracted to "cis-people" of the opposite sex. Can you imagine the sexual orientation of someone being exclusively attracted to "trans-people" of the opposite sex being declared invalid?

#superstraight does a fantastic job of pulling back the curtain and revealing that much of this gender identity stuff is about shaming people* into not asserting their sexual preferences.
