Well it kind of renders it unnecessary doesn't it, if everything, everyone, everywhere is LGBT+? We're all water, from different rivers, thats why it's so easy to meet. One love, peace out.

It’s a piss take but using the TRAs tactics against them. From what I can see it’s a backlash from all the abuse aimed at straight men for not wanting to date transwomen. Some of it is funny, but it makes me uncomfortable.

Let's drop all the homophobic bs and just have LGB again. That's the bit that's about same sex attraction. Anyone remember that? Guess what, it's still a thing. I'm still a lesbian. An actual real lesbian who has always been female and is sexually attracted to other women. Women who have always been female. There are lots of women (approx 50% of the population). It's good to remember that sometimes. It good to use the words 'woman' and 'lesbian' and remember what they mean.

Sign of the times that it wasn’t immediately obvious. I see it’s now gone sideways in the replies and has degenerated into a bunfight.

Just been scrolling through the tweets and I don’t know what to make of it. Seems to be a mix of people standing up for the right to call themselves lesbian/ gay and that not to include trans people. But also some homophobic people. Mainly the former though. It’s definitely a piss take of TRAs - that’s why they’re so angry. They really don’t like any sort of teasing. There’s even a flag - it does highlight the daftness of all the flags and list of made up words, using the TRAs own tactics. It made me chuckle but I’m not sure I’d join in - I don’t know why though?!

Thanks for the link PotHoles Good for that man inventing Super Straight. I’m glad to see the younger generation speaking out. TRAs can no longer say we’re all White, Middle Class, middle aged Women, who vote Tory and are anti abortion.

I said I had no gender identity on that 'cis' thread, the OP told me therefore I'm transgender. A little bit of a logic fail, I fear.

It is interesting seeing the TRA lines being turned back on all the cross animé avatared Tweeters. “I am because I say I am and anything but complete acceptance is hate.” Curious absence of death/rape threats and “in my mentions” gun memes so far. Perhaps someone is busy knocking a few new ones up ready for release into the wild.

Looking at this and some of the recent discussions on Reddit, I'm wondering whether Gen Z just aren't on board with all this identity stuff like the Millennials. Maybe Gen Z are seeing this at first hand with identity obsessions raging through their cohorts and don't feel they need to show it the demanded level of respect, although will play the game to some degree.

Well..yes. Bisexual is being attracted to either men or women. No trans in that.

Pan sexual is everyone including trans

I thought pansexual was supposed to be including nonbinary? "Bi" is surely not very inclusive when there are 103 genders to choose from.
