Its a subcategory of straight that means that straight people can now be included in the lgbtqi+ categories. Or something. Hooray! Fight for my superstraight rights too Stonewall!. Or something

If the super prefix indicates a firm partner preference based on a person's biological sex, then any supertrans person is acknowledging that
A) Biological sex exists and
B) their own sexual preference is based on biological sex.

I think. It's hard to tell. Possibly they mean they will only date a trans person, which is definitely phobic towards everyone else.

Just in case anyone is worried about the claim that the #superstraight hashtag and the support for it was somehow the doing of 4Chan, fear not, things kicked off on tiktok and then twitter in February and the claims about 4Chan relate to screenshots dated 6 and 7 March.

Obviously since that's clear, no one on here would now persist in those claims about 4Chan because that would be mendacious.

I can't find a mention of it on twitter before 1 March. It certainly originated on tiktok, was adopted by the alt-right people who founded the reddit group on 1 March and then was propagated by 4chan.

I think what's more interesting is why 4chan and alt-right figures thought this was something worth pushing?

You could hazard a gues. Is it because they are feminists or oppose homophobia? Or is it because they can use this to reinforce the idea that straight people are oppressed as well as stir up hatred of trans people?

I suspect you didn't want to find something that would disrupt your narrative that somehow 4Chan are behind the #superstraight hashtag.

Why would FWR have any interest in what 4Chan thinks? Why is it relevant in any way expect to smear feminists by association? We are mostly standing on the sidelines of this, but support the right of people to be exclusively same or opposite sex attracted.

Because they're using it as a wedge issue. They're saying "left wing people are happy to see females getting beaten in their own sports and for rapists to be in women's prisons". And the problem is - many people on the left are happy to see both those things happen.

Liberal, left men are excused and allowed to exclude TW from their dating pool on the basis of TW being trans and not the right sex for them, liberal, lefty gay males are allowed to exclude TMs from their dating pool on the basis of TM being trans and not the right sex for them - no cries of transphobia or death threats aimed at them or their families.
