aww! thanks. It was lucky timing.
Thank YOU all who are continuing to inspire us and who continue despite strikes to ensure that our voices are heard. I came to this board nearly 18 months ago when the dissonance of what women were being asked to do was so strong that I had to find someone else to discuss it with.
I can make off hand comments to other friends and they get it, but we don't get the chance to sit and discuss without an audience.
That thread was so important and I thank MNHQ for allowing it to stay. I have asked how in the future I can word something to make the point that earned me yet another strike, I don't think I will get an answer. Because, every time we post in a way that points out directly how inequality is being enabled (particularly in the way we have been limited in our discourse), it is judged and is on the knife edge of whether it is acceptable or not.
I mean, I can be verbose and have been said to write essays, but I generally write for the readers not the posters. However, I always try to keep within the guidelines because I view each of our voices as significant and precious.
And I this past couple of months, I have seen so many wonderful new posters that these threads have become enriched with new perspectives and new experiences.
So, thanks to all the voices of FWR. Even those that might be here to frustrate us, because those voices allow so many more to join. Those voices are a real-time example of what women and children are talking about.
But, mostly thanks to all the supportative voices here. I have learned so much and been so very inspired every day.
