Nobody is saying they're equivalent. It's a continuation of the point made that the usual "woke activist" people aren't speaking out against China.

I think we have to ASSUME that when there are wars or human rights abuses involving populations (rather than individuals) that women and girls are raped.

It's so bloody widespread and it's ALWAYS the last news out. But it's like lockdown and domestic violence increasing: it's a GUARANTEE. We don't need to wait and see. We should wait to hear it's not happening. But any time abuses are happening, women are being raped - and suffering extreme sexual violence.
