Unless I've misunderstood, it's not Langry that's been banned, but the poster whose misogynistic language was alarming last night.

I had my account suspended for several months towards the end of last year ( & as a result I stopped even looking in. I felt so disheartened and compromised), but since I've been actively engaging again, I note that several/numerous long term posters have disappeared. Have they all been banned? I know about Lang Cleg.....

I asked and was told they were a PBP. Not who they were.

I posted that theory before I received an email confirming it was A PBP. I did not query who it was. So, before I had the confirmation I was theorising that they had made that mistake.

The deletion message says it's the OP who has been banned. It's a little unfair, because the poster who was trolling has not been acknowledged on the deletion message as a troll.

The OP is not lang cleg. I wonder if there has been a mistake. I have asked HQ.

I mentioned on this thread that Lang has been banned, when I asked about Weetabix. I wonder if someone reading my post thinks that the OP was Lang, not realising her name is used in dozens of other usernames.

If that dreadful poster is a troll, then all their posts would be deleted. But HQ would have to change the deletion message.

As it stands, a reasonable question is now looking as though HQ thinks it's dodgy, and the dodgy poster has not been acknowledged.

agreed. I think you are right in that anyone reporting it would think it.

But alas my email back confirmed it was still a PBP even after I argued it was a mistake.

I'm confused as stopped towards end of thread 4. There was someone in thread 3 and 4 with a trans step child - that's not the troll or abusive poster, is it? Did someone new turn up?

I think Thread 5 was a step too far for the trolling poster to keep up the pretence.

The poster who gave me the strongest sense of "I'm alright Jack" that I have ever had in my life, on thread 4 "my stepchild is super-popular and incredibly successful so your daughters, and incidentally mine, can all go to blazes" is still there in thread 4, and if they had been banned as a troll wouldn't their posts all be gone, there as well as the more recent posts?

MN don't always remove all posts from trolls.

No, they don't, that's true. And in this case, I hope they don't. What I meant was they would have to delete a number of actual posts by that person, for being goady, without actually deleting all of them.

But the deletion messages suggests that the only a problem with the thread is that the OP was a PBP.

It's not Lang but maybe they are a PBP. But it would be more of a genuine reflection to say and there was a troll too who has since been banned.

With reference to a new thread is it just me who has never been asked for and never asked for sanpro in a changing room or noticed strings from other people? Am I hugely unpopular with bad eyesight to boot!

Yeah unfortunately Glinner is a divisive person so that's likely to be the focus on any thread started by him.
Not sure I can archive the bits and pieces I can see of thread 5 but it's enough to convince me there were some porky pies being told.
The OP was in no way the original Lang, but it does look a bit like that's what the mods are thinking?

Have to say that JJ and I do agree on one thing and that's the (lack of) availability of enclosed cubicles for all. Back in the distant past when we were allowed out into spaces with others I was at a facility where there were about 2 cubicles for the whole (female) space and the rest was totally open.
Not really what all this is about though.
