It's been groundhog dayed now so will just toddle round in the usual circles until it hits 1000.

Thank goodness for hot buttered whisky and the fact its still Christmas enough to justify it.

chin chin. Found the Bombay Sapphire and struck a hitherto undiscovered seam of Xmas chocolate in the cupboard. All is well.

oooo that's just remineded me I have some chilli chocolate in the fridgge.

I have been drinking Baileys dark chocolate drink, neat, and it's more alcoholic than I realised ...

Can I ask just what evil is "buttered hot whiskey "?

I made hot buttered rum Christmas Eve with cider as the topping up liquid. It was 👌

(What are the quantities)

It sounds pretty far out tbh. Might just have to try it to see what happens. Will my ears melt? Will the butter go all lumpy and weird? [toddles off to kitchen lockdown lab]

Sounds like Lu-Tze's take on a hot toddy. I'll pass. Drinking butter is just all kinds of wrong.

What about yak butter?

You could make it from the milk of any mammal and I would still think drinking butter is weird. It goes on your crumpets, not in your tea.

Chilli and chocolate are a perfect match. Chilli chocolate cake is beautiful and I’m not even a fan of chocolate cake!

I made a chilli chocolate cake once.

Except I used the wrong "chilli."

Merrily baked a cake that was especially chilli con carne.

In my early keto days I used to drink black coffee with butter.

It wasnt as awful as you might think. Tasted a bit like toast

Yes. It was as I stoically ploughed through it I realised my mistake.

I tried to make myself like it for a bit. Didn't work.

Also the chilli will stop squirrels from eating it.
