I think I have decided that of the new names women have been given, I like vulva people the best. Which if course means it will be outlawed soon.

Or if it becomes common to actually use to describe women, and yes, changing rooms start being labelled vulva people and penis people, we will very quickly have an influx of trans vulva people and we will be cis vulva people and trans vulva people will be much oppressed and in need of cis vulva peoples spaces else bigot. And it begins again.

This vulva people thing though, I highly doubt some groups of people (well, TRAs..I think some actual transwomen might find this whole thing as amusing as we do Grin ) would be that impressed with 'inclusive language' if they were then deemed to be penis people. God, imagine the carnage if transwomen were described as penis people (or, err, inverted penis people? neovulva people sounds 'nicer')..using the same 'rules' about inclusivity as are applied to women of course, because equality!

Yeah DH doesn't like it either. I casually brought up penis people over our cuppa this morning, asking if he was still planning on going out with his fellow penis people on his birthday. He just gave me The Look.

Then said 'you can tell you haven't fucking slept last night' Hmm

I explained, and that didn't remove the Hmm face.

I think for anatomical equivalence the terms should be something like Vulvan and scrotoid, shouldn't they?
If you want to go with penis as the Male descriptor then we should adopt that magnificent NN and become the cliterati.

Well.... that was interesting....

Did I not say ‘some’ activists in my inference? As in ‘some activists’ keep using the term bigot until people capitulate in using coerced terms.

I have to remember to use ‘some’ everytime.

To update. The second time I used it he informed that he would do what all penis people do and just ignore anything I, a vulva person, said.

He is getting used to me trying new terms out on him. We are now officially ‘man without uterus’ and ‘man with uterus’.

I can see I was wrong to push a new identity too soon even though penis/vulva people are much more ‘with it’.

You know when you read a word over and over again and then it doesn't feel like it makes sense any more? Yeah, I'm experiencing that Grin

We're now just that last step away from where this has been going from the start where such people simply refer to the cunts.

Yep.

Part of me wants to start making that jump for them. Because it obviously wouldn't be offensive to refer to women as cunts because after all, it's just a body part, and it's only a word (and we all know that words don't need to actually mean anything) and we could just refer back to such tweets like this to prove that defining people by their genitals is the kindest and most inclusive way to behave. What great allies us cunts could be!

(And, TBH, I see cunt and t**f as being said in basically the same way anyway, so what's the difference?)

And good to see that the monitors of FWB are out. Maybe Vulva people doesn’t work for them anymore if they are monitoring this thread so closely.

Maybe they want to go back to vulva owners and include other mammals in their activities? People is exclusive talk now.

Hmm. When I read the word "activists" in relation to trans rights, it's not actually synonymous with "trans people". I'm normally thinking of a group of people, most of whom refer to themselves as "cis". Probably also mainly under 30, white and middle /upper middle class but perhaps that's not relevant. I wonder if that's the same for others?
