Signed. Thanks so much, Glinner and others.

I'm quite gutted today as I have lost my best and oldest friend over this. I posted about Eddie Redmayne's u-turn and a dear friend who I love and who loves me made his second post on my Facebook in ten years to have a go. I'm not bothering to argue with him; I've unfriended him - his comment showed clearly where he stands and I feel we can no longer be friends.

I've just shared the petition link on my page - let the fireworks begin.

(I won't out Glinner or myself, but I emailed him some weeks ago very upset at being blocked and called a bigot over this. He wrote back with some very kind words about how we're now entering our life stages with our proper friends. I mention this in case it helps anyone as upset as I am today. Thanks, Glinner.)

(This is an old username as MN won't let me sign in on my new one; it's whatwouldrowando here.)

Solidarity, all.

Signed with my full name, a first for me. I love JKR so much. She was my absolute favourite childhood author so to have her now be an icon in the fight for mine and my daughters rights means so much to me. She seems like a such a wonderful person, I hope she knows how much love is out there for her.

I've just had a comment on my FB - from a man, obv - saying 'Can i ask what misogynistic way she been treated?' I'm afraid I replied with 'Look it up - it's not my job to educate you.'

I know this man has cut and pasted this question as he would not be able to spell 'misogynistic'. Not being snobby, but I know he wouldn't.

Bring it on.
