Most women I know (correction - every woman I know) couldn't give two hoots about transwomen!
This was also true if me, and every woman I knew.
Well, until women started realising that ‘trans woman’ didn’t mean what we all thought it meant.
Previously most of us assumed (and judging by that youGov poll most of the British public still assumes) that it was a man who had gender dysphoria, usually gay, who had had counselling but needed to physically and surgically transition to be able to live with their dysmorphia.
We all knew they were men (as did they) really but had compassion and would just ignore the exceptionally rare appearance of a very large ‘woman’ in the bathroom.
What we didn’t realise was the new ‘trans umbrella’ changed all of that.
Now those men who got erections wearing women’s clothes, no dysphoria in sight, can come in to our hospital rooms/changing rooms/toilets, fully intact and usually attracted to women. They can demand that lesbians sleep with them, that they can take a tent if girl guides on holiday, that women’s boundaries mean nothing to them.
Women didn’t care or notice because we thought ‘trans woman’ meant those troubled but usually sensitive souls (now affectionately known as ‘Truscum’ I believe) who never demanded a thing of women and just wanted to live quietly in peace.
A far cry from the anime porn addled Jabba the Hutus infesting Twitter.
