Standing for Women is a political organisation. Leeds police will be hyper aware of Posie Parker. WYP already interviewed her under caution 2 1/2 years ago for goodness sake. The database will be full of her.
So if the police are lying, they should be held accountable. If they got their wires crossed, they can easily explain how.
It's not difficult.
Posie's entire campaigns is to draw attention to the issues. It's about publicity.
Says the one who thinks that getting arrested by the police and not being allowed to speak was Posie et als master genius plan all along! grin
Your speculation skills seem to be failing you here SorryImKnew.
Fourteen women talking into a virtually empty square...
...versus thread after thread, video after video, and Twitter and other social media alive with speculation, comments, opinion, talking.
Followed by the repercussions of the multiple arrests, whether wrongful or not, the optics, the ratio, the outrage.
Not to mention all the people who don't give a monkeys about identity politics, but are fuming over the free speech aspect.
