TEDx can pxss xff. The ration is fab.

Winesalot · 08/09/2020 10:20

And this tweet too. Not going well. Do these brands realise that the swell of people resenting this bollocks is now growing rapidly? My friends who were blissfully aware months ago are now catching on and getting pissed off. Because it is NOT inclusive.

Was reading that this morning, that ratio is a sight to behold Grin

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 08/09/2020 10:26

Pricks.

littlbrowndog · 08/09/2020 10:28

The ratio is huge

A year ago they would have been brave and stunning.

Now they get ratioed

Such a change

ErrolTheDragon · 08/09/2020 10:30

Wow, they doubled down on it. ConfusedNo, 'womxn' is regressive pandering to using stereotypes rather than reality, and certainly not 'more inclusive' - it excludes most ordinary women.

nitgel · 08/09/2020 10:32

Depressing

Doyoumind · 08/09/2020 10:32

It's the push back in that other tweet that is ridiculous. I don't get the argument anyway. If TWAW, why doesn't women work? If NBs aren't women surely they are also not womxn? Fuck off TED.

BacklashBacklash · 08/09/2020 10:42

Who is it designed to please...? Actual women are annoyed (and I'm sure it's news to black women that they don't count as actual women Confused ). And transwomen are getting annoyed because they want to be classed as women not womxn. Considering how "inclusive and progressive" it is, it's funny that precisely no one is happy with it.

ArabellaScott · 08/09/2020 10:43

TXD can Fxck xff.

TheRealMcKennaDonsTinfoilHat · 08/09/2020 10:45

Depressing

I actually find it reassuring. This woke bollocks has overreached to the extent that it’s collapsing like the house of cards it always was. The ratio gives it away.

ArabellaScott · 08/09/2020 10:48

I filled in their form (and was polite) to explain why womxn is offensive.

SunsetBeetch · 08/09/2020 10:52

But not mxn funnily enough 🙄

Still the ratio is a joy. Idiots!

There are some hilarious responses too.
HavelockVetinari · 08/09/2020 11:05

I'm loving the ratio! Grin

CaveMum · 08/09/2020 11:11

The ratio is a joy to behold, I waded in myself!

Doyoumind · 08/09/2020 11:11

The ratio on the second tweet is amazing. Currently running at nearly 5k comments and less than 200 likes Grin

Beamur · 08/09/2020 11:12

Well, that probably didn't go as planned..

ColleagueFromMars · 08/09/2020 11:13

Fxck xff wxth thxs crxp plxxsx, thxrx’s x gxxd chxp. might be my favourite tweet ever

AlbusSirius · 08/09/2020 11:15

Bloody hell, have you seen the ratio on their intersex tweet?

heymacaroner · 08/09/2020 11:18

Totally agree with all the comments on it though - this sort of shit never happens to mens events

littlbrowndog · 08/09/2020 11:20

JHB just said two words to them

Piss off 😂😂😂😂😂🤣

FloresTorres · 08/09/2020 11:22

Ha, question 3. They actually spell women correctly. I've also responded.
So that we may recommend ways to optimise your virtual experience. Which of these options would you consider as a way of watching TEDxLondonWomen's live event? (please tick all that apply)Choose as many as you like

They can sod off with their crappy shit.
Will they be referring to people claiming to be BAME as BXME?

Fink · 08/09/2020 11:27

What's the ratio? I've clicked on all the links here (without being signed up to Twitter) but I don't understand what 'the ratio' is.

Also 'womxn is a spelling of women'. WTAF?! Not only deeply misogynist but also piss poor at spelling. Better go back to phonics class if you think -xn makes an /ɪn/ sound.

DancelikeEmmaGoldman · 08/09/2020 11:27

Well done TED. Now Fuxx oxx.
