Some people do not see girls (or women) as human beings, with human feelings, agency or the ability to speak for themselves. We're a kind of template to them, with certain hairstyles, empty, smily faces, a collection of simpering giggles and no actual thoughts of our own. Perhaps this is why there is so much rage when women/girls actually do speak - must be like having a dolly that suddenly starts refusing to play along.

TheBigBad, I'm really glad to hear the girl is getting support and respect. Very sensible to stay well out of the public eye. Bravo to her, and all my very best wishes.

When I have a run of deleted comments I do wonder about keeping my Times subscription.

@nauticant I think if you just comment on trans articles you probably get a flag and less likelihood of getting published. Try to write asinine crap under a bunch of articles to dilute the evidence of your clear thinking-ness

Or rather, desist from pushing them under the bus in the first place. And that comment you've quoted misses the fact that nowadays 'real tg' are liable to be vilified by the trans activists as 'truscum', in favour of blokes who claim to be 'trans' for a variety of other reasons.

I'm not sure whether the commenter has missed that point about "real TG" or whether they're deliberately co-opting "real TG" to cover all trans people-with-penises. I would guess from the use of "TG" rather than "TS" it's the latter.
