Lush Edinburgh say they wouldn't serve anyone in "woman" T-shirt

Apparently some stickers found their way onto the Lush Edinburgh storefront causing horror and consternation on Princes St this morning. They are too awful to be shared, obviously, but clearly they carried some message of hateful bigotry - or biological fact as it used to be known.

Anyway, staff on the thread are letting it be known that anyone wearing a T-shirt carrying the dictionary definition of a woman would not be served - haven't seen a comment on what would happen if it said 'I ❤️ JKR'. Not sure how legal that is.

No surprise there. All these companies rushing to wokewash themselves are doing it for a reason. And it’s not because they’re ethical.

I don’t buy their crap anyway. Just because something uses ‘natural’ ingredients doesn’t mean it’s good for your skin.

Huh. I’ve got my surprised face on at that revelation. Wokewashing is a lot cheaper than fair pay.

ditto with the Beeb - woke central and 'oh look, we like to pay the men loads more than the women'.

Similar to the correlation between police forces' respective paucity of rape convictions and their Stonewall champion status, we should have a Woke-ometer of companies and check their sex pay gap.
