I think the fact that this new argument focuses on ovaries is quite telling... I've often tried to work out what's the cause of men's hatred of women, could it be a natural human instinct to bully smaller people, could it be hating our relative weakness due to hating it in themselves due to social pressure to be strong?
But another one I've thought of is: could it be a fundamental jealousy that we can create life? Like on an existential level - they see the world and notice that women create life, and so often it's men who destroy it.
If creating new life was given the respect it deserves, boys would grow up to revere it. But as it is, it feels quite awkward, like there's this miracle happening every day and we're all meant to act like it doesn't matter. This creates discomfort, which emerges as anger/hatred.
That's my theory for the day!
