"Single issue feminists" 😂 Brilliant. If a "single issue" effects every other issue, it probably isn't just a single issue.
Do you believe that women who have English as an additional language, or low literacy/health literacy levels, should be able to receive health information in words they can understand (i.e. "women need smear tests" not "people with cervixes need smear tests")?
Do you believe that women from religious groups where being alone, undressed, or in physical contact with unrelated males is forbidden, should have access to the single sex spaces which enable them to participate in society?
Do you believe that survivors of FGM should be able to talk freely about their experiences without being accused of "weaponising" or being exclusionary, and that FGM needs to be understood as a crime driven exclusively by misogyny and committed exclusively against females?
Do you believe that women from poorer communities, and those with a history of abuse and trauma, who are disproportionately likely to spend time in prison, refuges, psychiatric units, and shelters, should be able to do so without fear of male violence?
Or does your "feminism" only extend to helping mostly white middle class men get whatever they want? Does your "feminism" focus myopically on whether these demands impact significantly on white middle class women, and if not declare them fine with no regard for the impact on more marginalised women? Does your "feminism" promote a belief system that let's privaledged women gain the head pats they think will make them equal with privaledge men, while underprivileged women pay the price and are either dismissed or invisible?
Hate to say it, but you white feminists are fucking tedious. Maybe read up a bit on intersectionality and try to see the world through a lens which doesn't just center white MC women and their quest to gain equality with white MC men.
