Given the BodyShop have now decided to 'go woke, go broke', can we add other companies here that we are boycotting along with the reason why please?

Also the companies we are supporting and why, like Arla for instance. There are a lot of posters here who may not be aware of the history of some companies and their support/dismissal of women's rights.

It's a while since we had a current list. Screenshots would be great as evidence.

I'll start with probably the one most have heard of, Marks and Spencer, for allowing anyone to use the changing rooms they are 'most comfortable' in, even though this will make a great many of their female (and many male) customers very 'uncomfortable'.

Bloody good period- sent open letter to JK Rowling.

Nspcc- called everyone homophobes when complaining about behaviour of a staff member and pulled out web chat.

rednsparkley · 10/06/2020 21:26

Lush - painfully woke and gave publicity to the despicable Ogre

Why The Guardian? Does Suzanne Moore not still write for them?

ShalomToYouJackie · 10/06/2020 21:52

Oh and Ocado. Because woman = adult human female doesn't "align with their views".

Standrewsschool · 10/06/2020 21:56

YHA

“ YHA provides both single gender dormitories and private rooms for our guests; both male and female dormitories are available. Transgender guests are welcome to stay in the dormitory which corresponds to the gender with which they identify, as per the requirements later in this policy.”

So you don’t get any single-sex dormitories any more, and all dorms are now unisex.

PenguindreamsofDraco · 10/06/2020 22:03

Can we leave this as a "to avoid" list? I would love to advertise companies who are still resisting, but under the inevitable pile on from the Traniban even the doughtiest would fold.

CanofCant · 10/06/2020 22:14

Abortion Rights unfollowed her on Twitter after someone notified them of her tweet.

SarahTancredi · 10/06/2020 22:19

betty

Top shop and m&s allow men in womens changing room even if it's the one used for bra fitting.

Thinx erased the word woman yet sell period underwear

Avocado removed a billboard poster with the definition of woman on it.

Tesco endorsed a list of top lesbians that included 7 males. And one extreme porn advocate and domestic violence apologist.

Betty98 · 10/06/2020 22:21

Thanks Sarah.

It was lush, clue and audible that I was unaware of?

Betty98 · 10/06/2020 22:21

Didn’t know about Tesco either, that actually boggles my mind. What the hell?!

SarahTancredi · 10/06/2020 22:24

Clue I believe have removed the word female and have gone gender neutral

GMB Trade Union.

Pulled their Q&A session for all women on all boards, caving to the TRA's who told them the women they were helping were transphobic.

Ignoring the relationships boards and other boards where women are in desperate situations trying to find a way out.

They never even looked into the allegations before pulling their support.

LockdownLump · 10/06/2020 23:01

Then had the audacity to put this on their press release webpage

www.gmb.org.uk/news/discrimination-against-pregnant-employees-and-working-mums-nothing-new
