Transphobic attitudes contradict the good feminism does everyday

Why is there such a large portion of the feminist movement so against trans culture. Trans people have been some of the biggest advocates for supporting allegedly oppressed groups. Why is it suddenly okay to for feminists (a formally oppressed group) to oppress trans people (currently oppressed group) why?

I would like to thank the OP for opening the feminist board to the very important cultural phenomenon which is bubble tea. Quite frankly I‘M disturbed That so many so called feminist are not aware of the importance of £5.95 fruit juice with poppable liquid choking hazards included.

Also I greatly miss pink custard and sponge was amazing at school and I’m gonna make it this way for my kid

LastTrainEast · 09/04/2020 07:32

Blamonge I almost missed the humour. "Trans people have been some of the biggest advocates for supporting allegedly oppressed groups."

oppressed groups = men

Blamonge · 09/04/2020 07:34

Thank your for validating my belief that feminism is a platform for bullies and hypocrites. As most of you have suggested I will do one. Feminism is dead thanks to stupidity and hostility in this post, long live equalism. I also recently had a daughter and I was so glad I did, females are so much better of than males in current society. At least if your under the age of 35.

Thank your for validating my belief

Grin The women on this board aren't here to 'validate your beliefs.' Maybe your beliefs are not valid?

Dances · 09/04/2020 07:39

Please don't homeschool your daughter OP.

Datun · 09/04/2020 07:40

Thank your for validating my belief that feminism is a platform for bullies and hypocrites.

And yet your very own opening post asserts that feminism does good every day.

🙄

Tea is always someone l want regards of weather... ☕(But with milk!)

Absolutely. I was drinking decaf last night, proper stuff now.
Well, if by any chance this summer turns out hot and humid maybe I'll try bubbles, it seems there are online suppliers of kit.

@isabellerossignol
Ah no, to be fair they have also supported the rights of those grown men who like to dress up as puppies to be allowed to roll round and play with young children. In public. In the name of 'acceptance'

Oops, yes, I forgot about that niche group!

Datun · 09/04/2020 07:43

These bubbles - do you suck them up the straw? Doesn't that produce a lot of choking?

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 09/04/2020 07:44

I once tried to use a mix of Weetabix and PVA to fill the gaps between the wooden floorboards in my sitting room. When the room got warm it smelt very weird and as it dried out the Weetabix mix started to break up and fall on DS1, who slept in the basement below. Luckily he found it amusing.

Etinox · 09/04/2020 07:45

@Blamonge, can you give me and example of when ‘Trans people have been some of the biggest advocates for supporting allegedly oppressed groups’?

ErrolTheDragon · 09/04/2020 07:47

Datun - the second post re bubble tea mentioned them shooting up the straw and choking. Probably best avoided in risk-averse times.

StarintheMorning · 09/04/2020 07:48

You wicked women, you have literally killed feminism with your talk of milk puddings and cold tea with bits.

InfiniteSheldon · 09/04/2020 07:51

Definitely making the choc orange jelly thing

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 09/04/2020 07:52

Love blancmange. I used to make chocolate blancmange for my family as a treat. Just milk, cornflour, sugar and lots of cocoa.

At school we used to get big serving dishes full of cubes of pink blancmange and jelly. When I was about 14 a girl was being very nasty indeed to me across the narrow table. I grabbed a handful of cubes under the table and shoved it down the front of her school knickers. I will always remember the dawn of realisation in her face.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 09/04/2020 07:52

So great to start the morning with a genuine laugh. Thanks wims. Grin

Datun · 09/04/2020 07:53

Ah thanks Errol.

Blamonge · 09/04/2020 07:56

May not be here to validate, but you have done so. So thank you. Assuming all feminists are women is also wrong. Please continue to be ignorant :)

Datun · 09/04/2020 07:58

Eh? I thought all feminists were hypocrites and bullies?

And, er, old.

Datun · 09/04/2020 08:01

Is it me, or is the frequency of posters hopping mad that women can't be arsed with their self indulgent wankery, increasing?

BovaryX · 09/04/2020 08:02

assuming all feminists are women is also wrong

Are you just thrashing around, desperately searching for things to find offensive? How very exhausting.....

BringbackLang · 09/04/2020 08:04

You naughty women. How dare you have opinions and not centre men in them. Off to the gulag the lot of you!

On a side note I really like passion fruit bubble tea and used to love the pink milk jelly my mum used to make. Lovely with a bit of squirty cream on top Grin

startrek90 · 09/04/2020 08:06

I am going to have that weetabix banana thing. Sounds delicious. I am 20 weeks pregnant with the worst kind of sickness I have ever had and that is actually the first thing I have wanted to eat in months. Thanks Lang x

corlan · 09/04/2020 08:06

As most of you have suggested I will do one.
Awesome.Don't let the doorknob hit you on the way out.

ErrolTheDragon · 09/04/2020 08:06

Some men call themselves feminists. They're often characterised by telling women they're doing feminism wrong.Hmm

Some men are feminist allies. Blokes who are supportive but don't take over and hector.
